Do yourself a favour and book this tour. - So pleased that I chose to experience the Mekong Delta this way. I am a very active person and found the kayaking and cycling to be very easy. It is a long day to get there and back as you are not going to the closest part of the Mekong. Kayaking was so peaceful, the beer gratefully received, cold and refreshing as well deserved, as with the fruit. Bikes are excellent quality, using Trek Marlins and Giant Talons. Guide Hóang is very vibrant, friendly and full of joy making us all 'family'. I highly recommend this trip, and will also recommend to my clients.

Trip to Mekong Delta - Our guide Hoang was an excellent leader of our group .
As a small group we were given a different look at the Mekong Delta area .
The kayaking was beautiful with all equipment in excellent order .
A beer on the kayak was refreshing .
The cycle ride used great bikes , down back quiet roads .
Food and refreshments were nice .
Luckily I took a change of shorts as got wet kayaking
Would recommend this trip if you want a quiet small tour .
Need to have a fair fitness level

Biking and fruits - Really fun trip, especially the bike ride. You get to experience all the local stuff including shipping at the market where I got to try fruits I’ve seen for the first time in my life. Really cool!

Best way to explore the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the city - We had an amazing day with our guide Quang who took care of us during this trip. We not only learnt more about Vietnamese culture and experience local customs and people in the countryside, but we appreciated Quang kind personality and interest. It was the best combination: boat, kayak and bikes. Riding on the bike along Mekong river was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed it despite of the heat and sweat. We were constantly supplied by the water and Quang and also our driver took care of everything. It was an unforgettable day. Thank you very much.

Fun adventure away from the tourist spots! - A really great full day tour where everything ran smoothly as it was so well organised. The kayaking and cycling was easy for anyone of regular abilities and the village stop and lunch was thoroughly enjoyed. Our guide Hoang was fabulous and his English was clear. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thanks Hoang.

Fantastic Cycling and Kayak Day Trip - Fantastic Day!
This tour could not have been better if not for these people (our guide Chaum, our driver and the boat operator). They took incredible care of the 5 of us.
Pros:
- perfect kayaking conditions. An hour long so just right without being too tired.
- fresh fruit and beer mid kayak ride
- photos taken of the group throughout the day
- morning coffee and tea midway to the start of the trip
- nice enjoyable bike ride throughout the countryside. Felt very safe the entire time and locals are so friendly. Some water breaks along the way.
- provide float cases for your phones
- lunch at local joint. So good!
- I cannot emphasize enough on how fantastic they were with making sure the group was hydrated in the heat. We had fresh water bottles every 2 hours it felt like.
Suggestions:
- would have been good to know we were kayaking first and then cycling. Had to change when we arrived as I was wearing the wrong attire.
- would've been good to know they provide phone flotation devices for the kayak. Most of our group left our phones on the bus to be safe.

Mekong Delta by bike, boat and kayak from Ho Chi Minh with Countryside Adventures. A/C van, good mountain bikes - Spent a full day exploring the Mekong Delta - Cai Be district with tour leader Bao and his team. Bao is a local guide with excellent English and known to the local residents. He was able to answer numerous questions about Vietnam throughout the tour. There were 3 in our group.
We were picked up at our hotel and transported by a nice A/C van to Cai Be district with a stop along the way for a beverage and to view rice fields. We then walked through the local market where locals were selling and buying all kinds of things- flowers, fruits, vegetables, eggs, live frogs, chicks, fish, many types of eggs, rice,clothing, household goods. We were the only tourists, and were not asked to buy anything. Many locals shopped by scooter for their food. At the end of the market we started a nice boat ride that took us along the mekong river to a canal where we switched to kayaks. Equipment was good. We paddled about an hour through the Delta seeing locals fishing with nets, and local flora. The boat picked us up and we returned to the village to pick up bikes. We had fresh local fruits and coconut milk en route. Our first jackfruit!
The bike tour took us through town ( with a stop for lunch) to a small ferry that transported us to an island where we had a beautiful bike through the countryside on backroads and paths.. We biked about 25km stopping where we wanted to take photos. Bao taught us about the local farming and fruit trees. He took some nice pictures throughout the tour- and shared the pics with us. Overall a beautiful way to experience the Mekong Delta and get some exercise.
