being on the river and seeing the way people sell fruit and veg - What a great way to witness the locals selling there products on the river. our guide said they were huge but have now diminished in size but this was still amazing watching the trade and seeing the pole s with the products they had to sell waving in the breeze,we had breakfast on the water and the noodles and soup were very good ,also sampled fruits which were very fresh and would recommend this to anyone that is interested in the local way of life on the mekong

Floating market orilovides good photo opportunities. - It was very interesting to see the boats and the vendors. Somehow I expected more direct contact, which was limited. The market is colorful and bustling. Great photo ops.

Very Organised - Very different from the floating markets experienced in other places such as Thailand. These markets lean more toward the wholesale market to traders and other merchants. Larger vessel ply their trade with some item displayed on the mast to 'announce' what their produce is. Rather than multiple products, each boat mainly trades in one form of fruit or produce. Well worth a visit.

Fun floating market - The cai rang floating market is fun to visit. It is less intimate than other floating markets because this is more a wholesale market with bigger boats. If you want to visit here make sure you don't book a tour with ytc!!!

Nice and interesting but not so big as expected and too much garbage in the water - Nice and interesting but not so big as expected and too much garbage in the water. Since they build some bridges along the Mekong, a lot of transport is made now by roads and not so many on the water as it use to be
