Had a great time visiting... - Had a great time visiting the Delta. The highlights were boating around the little inlets of the river to see how the locals lived and riding around the streets before having a delicious lunch. A must do from Ho Chi Minh

Amazing and informative tour - Our tour guide Dana was amazing! With her extensive knowledge and sense of humor she made this tour even better than we imagined. While the floating markets are dwindling, the rest of the tour makes up for it. Drink the snake wine. It’s delicious.

This was one of the best tours I've... -
This was one of the best tours I've been on. It was great to escape the busy city and see what life is like for people who live on the river. Our guide told us a lot of interesting things about day to day life in Vietnam. And the food and snacks are delicious, so be hungry!

Journey to Mekong delta - Very nature filled area. They bring you to a garden to see different types of plants. Then they brought us to a place where they thought us how make rice paper. Then they brought us to eat lunch. The lunch we had was fish, pork, and wraps. After which they brought us to a bee breeding area where they sold us honey etc. Then they brought us to an area where they made coconut sweets. The coconuts there is a must try, as they were naturally really sweet when compared to other coconuts. Then they showed us how to make the sweets. There was also a horse ride on the way to the the row boat ride. Then we stopped for a quick break we here we bought drinks such as sugar cane juice. We had a good nature sight seeing during the row boat. Then we headed back to the boat to get to the bus back to ho chin ming city which was a two hour long journey . We went to this location via TheSinhTourist agency at the price of 219k Vietnam dong per person.

Mostly disappointing. - A long and bumpy two hour drive to get to the Mekong Delta and the Floating Market (and back again!) Was hoping to see more of the Delta and the floating market was pretty much non-existent! Only a few boats left doing nothing! At least our guide explained why but still very disappointing. Only saved by the cooking class and the food after! That was better!

Not a lot of the Delta... - We were the first to be picked up on time but it then took a very long time to pick up everyone else. It was also a long drive to Cai Be, around 3 hours. On arrival we took a very short walk through a covered market to get to the boat, which was really colourful and interesting. We then had a short tour through the floating market, which is not lots of small colourful boats as you might think, it’s very spread out over lots of bigger boats that you can’t really see into. We were however given lots of interesting information on what the sellers do and how they live as well as information on the rivers degradation due to dams and sand removal. We then transferred to a smaller traditional boat and paddled through a canal on one of the islands for 30 minutes. We stopped on the island for some fruit/drink and watched a traditional musical play which was quite sweet. Back on the big boat we made our way back the way we came and went to the candy factory. We were shown various different food products and told how they were made which was very hot but interesting! We then all held a large pet python before heading back down the river to a small village. At the village we had a bike ride for 30 mins on some very old bikes with virtually no breaks but it was fun and a very pretty ride! Back at the village we all made pancakes and had a very good lunch. Overall it was a nice day but we saw very little of the Mekong Delta which was a bit disappointing.

Mekong Delta - Trip was very good and well organised. I firstly was disappointed with the late pickup. Secondly with the price I paided$76 through Viator whole others on the tour paid $50. This is a huge difference in cost when paying for two people. Buyer BEWARE. Viator and the tour company need to examine prices differences for the same trip as tourists talk. I am hoping this price difference will be refunded to me ASAP.

More touristic shopping that physical tour - A long drive from the city, around 4 hours each way. Did the 2 days 1 night tour with friends. A lot of stops related to shops, buying stuff and little boat rides. I was in HCMC for a long while and it was nice to get away
