Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - Located in the heart of Saigon’s government district, Notre Dame Cathedral showcases neo-Romanesque architecture with two tall square towers and iron spires. The Central Post Office, a beautifully preserved relic of French colonial times, is nearby and is considered one of the grandest post offices in Southeast Asia. Designed by Alfred Foulhoux, the building features arched windows and wooden shutters, reminiscent of its late 19th-century heyday.

Formerly known as the ‘Museum of American War Crimes,’ it serves as a stark reminder of the Vietnam War’s brutality. Exhibits include graphic photographs, American military equipment, a helicopter with rocket launchers, a tank, a fighter plane, a single-seater attack aircraft, and a 6,800kg conventional bomb. The museum’s most notable exhibits are the ‘tiger cages,’ where the South Vietnamese government held political prisoners. The museum also features a guillotine used by both the French and South Vietnamese until 1960.
Cu Chi Tunnels - Depart Saigon for the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about Vietnam’s history and the Vietnam War. The site includes over 120km of tunnels with trapdoors, living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, armories, hospitals, and command centers. After the war against the French, Vietnamese soldiers expanded the tunnels and added effective air filtration systems, aiding their survival during the Chu Chi carpet-bombings.
