Best cooking class ever! - Wanting to know more about how to cook my fav Vietnamese dishes, we had high hopes for this cooking class. We were lucky enough to be the only ones booked on this tour so we got a one on one class. Chef Vu was explained the main flavours of Vietnamese food and was an excellent teacher. This class did not disappoint and is a must if you are looking to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine! Going to the Ben Thanh market to buy ingredients for our dishes and the 30 minute cyclo ride around HCM City were bonuses. Highly recommend.

Cooking class and Market Tour - Saigon - I did a private class as my partner was not interested in cooking. It was a great experience and we picked easy foods I could make back home in Australia. Chef Vu was very helpful to customise the menu since I am vegitarian and was fun to cook with. We sampled the foods and he ensured I did most of the cooking. He was very organised and well prepared. Thanks for a great morning. Suggestion if you book... come hungry 😋

Kids Love It! - We chosen this for kids' exposure to local culture. The rich and interesting combination are just perfect. Starting with very attentive cyclo cyclists, riding us through the morning city traffic, showing us several key landmarks along the 30 min rides, even stopping in front of the palace and church for photos (not all cyclo do that). They asked for tips at the end of the ride (which I was told by the guide that it has been covered) but it's worth it, especially considering their age and effort. Next, the market visit is short and sweet. For those who does not eat live seafood, please inform the guide at the start of the visit to avoid him buying any live prawns. The walk from the market to Chef Vu cooking place is about 10 mins. The whole cooking session is long but quite fast pace, which is just nice to cover all the menu. They are very attentive to kids, ensuring their safety and even offer to take video and photo. So parents can still do our own cooking peacefully. The egg yolk coffee is a perfect ending for the session. My kid gave 10/10 rating to the session, he said he loves everything!

It was an amazing experience! - We went around town in Cyclo and then joined a cooking class. The cyclo was relaxing and comfortable to feel the wind. Chef Vu was very easy to talk to and taught me how to cook. I was able to cook with peace of mind because I had a very strong sense of hygiene. The finished dish was too good to believe I made it! I got the recipe when I finished, so I'll make it at home again. Thank you very much.

Fun and enjoyable food experience - A very enjoyable experience. Picked up by cyclo bike first off and had a short tour of the town. Didn't expect the tour as we thought we were heading straight to market to meet others in the class. So a good surprise. Food buying at market was interesting with guide and then off to cook with Chef Vu. He explained the meals, ingredients, style, flavours very well and then showed us how to prepare and cook our meals. Food was yummy, Chef Vu was great, food filling and then we finished off with an and egg coffee. Fun and enjoyable.

Chef Vu for the win - Excellent service. Loved the cyclo ride with the driver pointing out the local landmarks along the way. Our guide around the market was very informative and explained all the processes to us. Chef Vu was excellent and it was great having a smaller group. Every one got to do everything and cooked all our own food so we could accommodate our own tastes. Would highly recommend this course. Didn’t receive the email with the recipes though.

Cooking class is great, the rest is just filler. Overall good time. - Very fun and informative cooking class, Chef Vu starts off with the absolute basics and then turns the dial up in line with how skilled/experienced you actually look. Probably didn’t need to have the cyclo ride or the market trip but it only took up about an hour out of the 3-ish hour experience.

Easy cooking, delicious food - A lovely half day experience that I shared with my daughter. This experience is recommended for people who don’t know a lot about Vietnamese cuisine. You also don’t need a lot of skill in the kitchen. The dishes were basic but the food was delicious.
