A must do if in Ho Chi Minh City! - Excellent food tour, really recommend this tour and ask for Tony Huynh. A local with great knowledge. A tip before going, don't eat all day! as there's so much food to try. And showed us some sites we probably wouldn't have seen without a guide. Helped show us how to cross some busy roads native style 🤣

Fantastic, Flavourful & Memorable Food Tour! - Tony’s Saigon Evening Walking Food Tour was absolutely stellar. He brought us to 6 different food stalls in inner, local food markets in the city, from appetizer items and snacks to entrées to desserts. Immediately, I was able to cross off several items I had been hoping to try! The food was fresh, tender and flavorful, and Tony’s company was delightful; punctual, professional, and kind, he not only explained what we were eating, but was an all-around fun guy to hang out with. It was a perfect way to kick off our Vietnam travels! Highly recommend Tony’s tour if you are in Hoi Chi Minh. 5/5 stars!

Food Tour - Tony gave us a tour of the city while trying foods. I really enjoyed the experience of all the foods that were chosen. They were distinct but also tasty. Tony also did a great job making the tour fun.

Delicious Way to Learn About Vietnam! - We went to SO MANY food places with Tony that it's almost impossible to describe everywhere that we went! And what's more surprising is that not one place disappointed: all of them were good! Tony really knows where to go: we went to about five to six locations that were all so good, and we ate, like, eight or more different types of dishes, ranging from the savory to the sweet; I wasn't able to take pictures of them all, but hopefully the ones here do them justice! I already love Vietnamese food, but I fell in love with it even more during this tour: Vietnamese food is so healthy, so fresh, so diverse, and Tony really knows where to go to get the best. We walked through about three districts as well, I think, so we covered a lot of ground. (The TripAdvisor map doesn't reflect all the places that you'll go; maybe trade secret ;-) ) Tony not only took us to all the best places, but also taught us about the dishes' ingredients, how they're made, some of the history behind them. Also, almost right after my booking, Tony sent a message to inquire about any food allergies in our group so he could start to tailor the tour's route. We had one friend in our group who had a few allergies, and because of Tony's thoughtful planning and proactive outreach, this friend was able to partake in about 99% of the food! If there was a dish that had an allergen, he was careful to point it out and not order it for our friend. Truly thoughtful. Also, if there are any seniors in your group who might start to get tired from the walking, it's good to communicate about that in advance, be flexible, and adjust accordingly. Tony was good about that. If you're in Vietnam to learn about the culture, street food is definitely a big part of it, especially in Ho Chi Minh City! I highly recommend Tony and this tour; don't miss out!
