Authentic and Enthralling Evening Street Food Tour! - Last night's evening street food tour was an absolute delight! We started our culinary adventure at the iconic Opera, where we hopped into a taxi to our first food stop. Although I can't recall the names of all the dishes I tried, each one was incredibly tasty and felt genuinely authentic.
Guide was exceptional, blending deep knowledge of Vietnamese street food with personal anecdotes, taking me to hidden gems far from the usual tourist paths. These spots are places he personally frequents, which added a lovely personal touch to the whole experience. Walking from one stop to the next, we were immersed not only in delicious flavors but also in engaging conversations about Vietnamese culture and daily life.
We ended the night back at the Opera with full bellies, making it a memorable experience. Whether you're a food lover or a culture enthusiast, this tour is a must-do!

Excellent food walking tour - We did this evening tour, was just myself and my wife and one other lady. Really good tour with Tony, a friendly guide who spoke excellent English. We met the guide at the Opera House and he arranged a taxi for us all to District 3.
Very different to D1 where we were staying, and much more the authentic HCMC experience we wanted to discover. We walked through food markets and the flower market, tried street food and had sit down food, all delicious with really friendly stall and restaurant owners. Lasted about 3 hours 30 mins, dropped by taxi back at the opera house.
If you want to try authentic food outside of D1 I definitely recommend this tour.

Fantastic food tour - Tony was a great host - he taught us a lot about the culture and showed us delicious local food that we would have never tried ourselves. Loved spending time with him and he is a great conversationalist! 100% would recommend!

Tried many new styles of food and the intense flavours. Enjoy viewing the wide range of ingredients in the food street. - Knowledgeable about all aspects of Vietnamese life as well as the food. We had interesting conversations about a range of subjects involving Vietnamese culture, religion lifestyle and politics. Enjoyed immensely. Thanks.

Best dinner best host - Tony was an awesome time and showed us many great bites. Meals were small portions which allow you to try more food. He is also very enthusiastic about the meals. Excellent host!
