Highlights
  • Asiana Link Travel - Saigon, still often called by its old name, is Vietnam’s largest city. It’s a dynamic metropolis where street vendors selling fruits and vegetables coexist with flashy western-style bars and boutiques. Saigon’s history spans just 300 years. In 1859, the French captured the city, making it the capital of Indochina. From 1956 until its dramatic fall in April 1975, it served as the capital of the US-backed Republic of Vietnam. This full-day city tour delves into Saigon’s turbulent history and showcases the city’s diverse offerings.
  • Ho Thi Ky Flower Market - We pick up guests from various hotels; your hotel might be the first, so please be ready by 09:00 a.m. Our friendly drivers will take you to Ho Thi Ky Flower Market, where you can enjoy a brief walking tour through the bustling stalls, soaking in the vibrant energy and scents of this beloved local flower trade landmark.
  • Ba Thien Hau Temple - Take a cyclo ride to “Saigon’s Chinatown” in District 5. Visit the Thien Hau Temple to experience the blend of Chinese and Vietnamese cultures and explore Binh Tay Market for its lively atmosphere filled with goods and produce.
  • Binh Tay Market - We’ll pass by Binh Tay wholesale market, one of the largest markets in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Hủ Tíu Nam Vang Dì Sương - Hop back on your cyclo and leisurely return to the city center. After a few hours of exploration, satisfy your hunger with a delicious light lunch at a local noodle shop. After lunch, we’ll embark on an intriguing afternoon tour visiting many significant sites.
  • Independence Palace - In the morning, we will visit the following places of interest:

The Reunification Palace: On April 30th, 1975, the Vietnam War officially ended here when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was then the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.

  • War Remnants Museum - War Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this museum poignantly displays the futility of war. The ‘Requiem’ exhibit, featuring black and white photography, is particularly moving, dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who died during the conflict. The courtyard outside showcases war relics, including rusting jets, tanks, and cannons captured from the American military.

  • Central Post Office - The Old Post Office is another example of French colonial architecture and is also the country’s largest post office.

  • Emperor Jade Pagoda - Jade Emperor Pagoda: Built in 1909 in honor of the supreme Taoist god, this is one of the most atmospheric temples in Ho Chi Minh City, filled with statues of phantasmal divinities and grotesque heroes. The air is thick with the pungent smoke of incense, obscuring the intricate woodcarvings.

  • Ben Thanh Market - Ben Thanh Market is one of the oldest and most popular markets in Ho Chi Minh City. It’s a bustling hub where visitors can immerse themselves in local culture and shop for a variety of goods, from clothing and souvenirs to fresh produce and street food. We’ll drop you back at the pick-up point or somewhere in the city center as per your request.

A great way to see Ho Chi Minh! - This tour was really relaxing and a great way to see Ho Chi Minh. And to be in the organised chaos of Ho Chi Minh traffic was awesome. Our tour guide, Joey, was super friendly, very knowledgeable and taught us many things about the Vietnamese history and culture. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Amazing day tour of Ho Chi Minh City including detailed history of Vietnam. - My wife and I were very impressed with the amazing tour provided by Asiana Link Travel. Kelvin Luong organized the tour and we were fortunate to have an outstanding tour guide--Stark. He is a 24 year old specialist in tours and graduated with a degree in tourism. What impressed us was Stark's detailed history of Vietnam along with pictures of key people and history timelines. The Reunification Palace and War Reminants Museum along with a tour of the famous Post Office were some of the sights we enjoyed It was a great day and we highly recommend Asiana Link Travel. Thanks for a great day in Ho Chi hMin City and please extend our thanks and appreciate to Stark.
