Additional Information
During the activities, you’ll try 6 different coffee drinks (from pure black coffee to the most iconic ones with ingredients) and the stories / origins behind them. There’re always reasons, background situations connected to each of the drink. You will understand more about Vietnam history through the coffee tasting, as well as the people characteristics from different parts of the country reflexes on the drinks. Coffee is not just a drink, but how it’s much more important to us.
Hands-on brewing the coffee yourself. You’ll get to know How to use “Phin” (traditional Vietnamese coffee dripper), together with the methods to make the iconic coffee drinks of Southern & Northern Vietnam (the “Ca phe sua” - condensed milk coffee & “Ca phe trung” - egg coffee). You’ll be ready to make them at home easily with my tasty recipes/tips, an experienced QC / barista coach.
All in all, a complete picture of everything you need to know about Vietnamese coffee.
- The lab is spacious enough and have seats for kids/children waiting for their parents to join the activity
- Caffeine-sensitive travelers should consider how much they can consume (tasting only instead of finishing all the provided drinks)

Incredible coffee tasting experience - If I have to narrate my hochimin city experience to anyone, I cant do so without talking about quinyh, his stories about vietnam, the coffee culture etc . What was supposed to be 2 hours ended up being 5 hours because he just loves what he is doing and when we had more questions time just flew by.
I learnt a lot of about coffee history and journey in Vietnam. This is a must do experience

Amazing experience in every detail! - One of the most fantastic experiences I've ever had travelling the world.
If you traveled Pro Vietnam and didn't have this Coffee Experience with Quynh you're traveling the wrong way.
It completely changed my relationship with coffee. Amazing to understand the story in detail of how Vietnam stands out with coffee growing. You will understand in a class how it all started, how Vietnam stands out in the world and will understand in practice the details of the process. Perfect!
Quynh has excellent English, super intelligent and passionate to answer any question. A coffee lover and an amazing teacher.
I would recommend this experience to anyone.

Must Do Experience!!! - Wow!!! This experience with Quynh is worth every penny. I learned so, so much about coffee and its history. One of my favorite experiences I had on my whole 5.5 week trip. Quynh even sent me the information slides after the class so that I could look over them whenever I want!!

A very informative experience! - Probably the best experience I've ever had! Quynh is a very knowledgeable and sharing host, tasted 6 cups of coffee in nearly three hours, a bit much for me who can only have one cup of coffee a day, learned about Vietnamese coffee from start to finish, learned a lot of interesting things and I would Recommendation it to everyone!

Wonderful learning experience - Quynh is very knowledgeable in the subject of coffee and the different cafes around Vietnam! The provided Banh Mi was SO GOOD! and really helped leverage the amount of coffee we drank. there were about 6 different coffees to tase test, all of them very different frm one another. I loved learning about the history of coffee and Vietnam's history with coffee as well. at the very end of the experience we also got a bunch of cafe recommendations which I very much appreciated. lovely experience!

Great experience - I had a fantastic experience in the Vietnamese coffee workshop. The demonstration was clear and passionate, giving us an authentic immersion in Vietnamese coffee culture. We learned from grain selection to the traditional filtering technique, and each step was accompanied by a detailed explanation and practical tips. The possibility to prepare and taste our own coffee was a special touch that made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this workshop to all coffee lovers and those who want to explore new ways to enjoy this drink. A real delight!
