Fun, enjoyable and meaningful experience - The class and the food are amazing! An our Chef/Mentor is awesome too! Not just teaching us to cook but to speak Vietnamese too! We started at the market to see every goods we can get in making our dishes, just kind of a tour. Couple of trivia and funny stuff 😂, the vendors are really welcoming one even sliced me one little lime to smell, how sweet of her 🫶🏻 Welcome drink is a Lime Juice, I love it! Well just making it less sugar and it will be perfect 🤩 All food is soooooooo perfect for me! Please don't get your lunch and dinner, you'll be filled with fullness of yummy meals and dessert - An's Homemade yogurt ❤️ I will be able to cook Vietnamese food at home. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic Experience - We have done several cooking classes while traveling and this was one of the best! The tour states with an overview of the Ben Thanh Market and we learned about the spices, herbs, and foods used in Vietnamese cooking. We then took a quick taxi ride (included in the reservation) to the cooking class. We made three dishes (fresh spring rolls, banh xeo which is the sizzling crepe, and a chicken slow cooked in a clay pot). Everything was absolutely delicious and a lot of fun to make. Overall, I’d highly recommend this to anyone who likes good food! The staff at Provincial is extremely friendly and does an amazing job teaching the class.

Vietnamese Cooking School - An first took us to Ben Thanh market for a local shopping experience that introduced us to Vietnamese cuisine ingredients. At the cooking school chopping was completed before our arrival. We easily learned cooking customs and techniques because chopping was copleted. After cooking we enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal. Finally, we were awarded a certificate by An and given a wonderful little cookbook.

An is the Real Star - An was a fabulous guide and instructor. The class was perfectly paced and easy to follow. We had mango salad, beef rolled in betel leaves, and chicken pho. The setting was adorable, and we each had our own cooking station — it was impressive to be able to cook and eat your own creation. Would highly recommend.

Scrumptious food . - Wonderful friendly chef who spoke very good English. Explained all the steps clearly. We made 3 meals, all delicious and received a small cook book at the end. Highly recommend.

Great experience. Well worth doing even if you're not a big foodie. - A great experience for the beginner to an experienced cook. The market tour prior was great and the teacher was very knowledgeable. I learned some new things and the food and conversation were great. Highly recommend this experience, the certificate and recipe book were a bonus. I will definitely tell my students about this.

An abundance of food and fun - This is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon in Ho Chi Minh City and to carry the tastes of the city home. Met right on time at the market, we enjoyed a tour of the whole space, but focused on spices, usual fruits and veggies, and local delicacies. Whisked by taxi with our teaching chef, we found the Provincial Table space inviting. We each had our own cooking station with gas burner, clay pot, motor and pestle, and utensils. The chopping had been done. We were off and running. Three delicious dishes: braised chicken, fresh rolls, and a crispy pancake. Our teacher-chef was excellent. We all succeeded, and we all learned. It is one of the best cooking classes I've ever taken! If my only suggestion is that we make and eat LESS food (2 fresh rolls not three, and one pancake not two) you know it was a 5 star day!

Highly recommend - If you have any interest in cooking simple dishes and like Vietnamese food, I would definitely recommend this experience. We had a terrific and informative tour of the food markets (no pressure to buy). Dung was so fun, lovely and engaging. It was so enjoyable cooking with her and the food was delicious.
