- Hvalsø - Looking to escape the city for a few hours and try something new, fun, healthy, and challenging?
We’ll meet at Hvalsø Station, just 30 minutes from central Copenhagen. I’ll share a bit about myself, my passion for running, and our plan for the day.
We’ll set off on a scenic 6km trail run, divided into four 1.5km segments. We’ll take breaks as needed, run at a comfortable pace, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The route, crafted from years of running in this area, winds through small paths beside Bagsværd Sø and Furesø. Expect dense forests, single trails, and steep drops leading to stunning lakes.
This trail running experience is all about immersing yourself in nature and doing something beneficial for your well-being. It’s perfect for anyone eager to explore more of Denmark. All you need is an open mind and a readiness for a fun challenge.
We’ll conclude our run at Skovbrynet St, where we can stretch and grab a bite to eat before heading back to Copenhagen by train.
