Your adventure begins at Camp Děčín, where you’ll receive a boat, paddles, and a dry bag. A brief orientation will occur on location. The journey entails 22 km of leisurely paddling over a span of 4.5 hours. Leaving Děčín, you’ll be captivated by the Shepherd’s Wall featuring the Via Ferrata, accompanied by the towering Děčín chateau on the opposite bank. The river will guide you through a striking sandstone canyon encompassing the national parks of Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland, leading to the spa town of Bad Schandau in adjacent Germany. You have the option to explore the town center, known for its variety of restaurants and charming cafes, or head directly back to Děčín from the nearby train station.
