Highlights
  • Carretera Provincial del Barranc del Monyo, 140 - The route lasts 3 hours, which starts by equipping us, making some photos for the memory and giving a brief talk for the management of the kayak and the entrance to the water in which a guide will assist us.

When we reach the cave, where we will disembark and using the front lanterns that we will provide you, we will enter the interior of the cave, to see the work that was done to carve it and give it that name, because for those who have never been, it was excavated by man centuries ago. Once inside, apart from seeing the way of extracting the stone, the storage of water that was used and taking pictures, we will go back to the kayaks to take our snorkel masks and go for a swim surrounded by fish, as it is a reserve marine we will have great variety and quantity of them.

Refreshed and hungry we give you a small appetizer, to be able to return to the kayak with strength and return to the beach.

VISIT IN KAYAK TO THE “COVA CARVED”, DISEMBARKING AND MAKING SPELEOLOGY UNTIL THE INTERIOR TO SEE HOW IT WORKED, PRACTICING SNORKEL ABROAD AND TAKING AN APPETIZER.

Cova Tolada kayak trip - We did the Cova Tolada kayak tour as a small group - and it was excellent. Our 2 guides we superb - taking care and attention and also sharing local knowledge. It's always great to be with people who are proud of their area - and the two host/guides shared some great insight. The trip to the caves gave us more than we expected - by exploring in the caves and learning about the history - and also have a gorgeous snorkelling session. It was a great trip well organised and we highly recommend it.

Kayak carved cave + snorkeling + caving with Aaron "montgo active tourism" - It is undoubtedly a very nice experience to do alone or with the family. Aaron, who was the person who accompanied us, is very professional and a great person. He explains everything wonderfully, has a lot of knowledge and takes you back to the history of the cave from centuries ago. I recommend doing the route, firstly because of the beautiful surroundings and secondly because there are few people like Aaron left and it is a pleasure to be able to do an activity with a great person like him. I have all the material and I could do it alone, but without a doubt I would not know the history, the risks that it entails if you do not take the necessary precautions and every corner as we have known it with Turismo Activo Montgó.

One of the best experiences of our lives 🌊🏖️👙🐠🐟🐚 - It was an incredible experience, we are from Colombia, but we live in Valencia. We loved it, from the moment we arrived, Aarón explained everything to us with great care, caution, dedication and affection. He was very attentive, he explained to us how we should sit and what to do to handle the kayaks correctly, he explained to us the history of the "Cova Tallada" in great detail, he was concerned about our safety and explained to us what we should do and what not to do to preserve the Cova and his or her environment. When leaving the Cova, I had something for lunch for each of us, taking care of one of our guests, as she had celiac disease, bringing only products so that she could consume. He gave us our masks and offered us his camera to take videos and photos of all the fish we were going to see, but not before explaining and showing us He looked carefully at the variety of fish we might see and offered us a waterproof booklet that we could scratch underwater to mark the fish we had seen. He offered us polar fleeces when we got out of the water in case we were too cold, he meticulously told us where to go when taking and returning the kayaks... Definitely, and if by chance it is not clear, we not only received excellent attention but also had an unforgettable experience. Aarón explained everything to us in detail, he guided us, he taught us, he brought cold water in the kayaks in case we were thirsty, he brought us lunch and he kept the car keys and at the end he sent us the link with all the photos and videos that we had taken with his camera to download them. If you go to Denia, you cannot miss this wonderful experience, we are eternally grateful, everything was spectacularly beautiful, you can tell that they love their work; Thanks to them we have an unforgettable experience that will remain forever in our memory...

A walk through paradise - A very rewarding experience and a success to do it with you; from the exquisite treatment of Aarón and the friendliness and good work of Marc, making sure that everything went well: his interesting explanations of the landmarks of the route (the Gerro tower, the fishing villages, the marine fauna, the cova), his recommendations cinematic... In short, a great way to spend three entertaining hours in a privileged environment and like family. Thanks for everything. We will be back.

Perfect mornings outing - Wonderful morning with José. (I think!?) A novice at kayaking he completely put me at my ease with relaxed clear guidance. It was an easy journey to the caves. There was a plentiful supply of snacks which was appreciated and a lovely touch. We had an interesting walk through the caves with just the right amount of information, snorkelled in the bay and then back to base. Plenty of photos were taken for us. Communication was efficient. I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough!

Avoid - Terrible! Asked us to change booking to later in the week and then cancelled late in the evening before our last day so no chance for us to find another operator somewhere else on the coast. Would have been polite and thoughtful to warn there was a risk of cancellation which apparently there was due to illness. Very unprofessional. Avoid.
