The iconic building, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, is based on the form of the desert rose and is composed of large interlocking disks of different diameters and curvatures that surround the restored historic Palace of Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani (1880-1957), son of the founder of modern Qatar. The museum, which opened in March 2019, gives voice to the country’s heritage and culture through commissioned films and artworks, storytelling, artifacts, and music, combining wide-ranging scholarship with oral histories of the people of Qatar.

Bst tour guide and very informative Abid - Thanks to our tour guide Abid , he was soo informative and friendly, and thanks to the Monster Adventures Qatar for their arrangement , we have seen alots of cultural buildings specifically souq waqif and the man mad island the pearl we recommend this tour

City tour with Abid - After my full day tour with Monster adventures Qatar.i decided to do a city tour .and as Expected like a desert adventure this was also the best experience. So natural culture the buildings the hospitality every thing 10/10 definitely doing it again

Amazing, fantastic and such an adventurous tour - Qatar is such an amazing country. Loved the environment and vibes there. The people were so friendly and our tour guider mr. Abid was such an amazing person. We had so much fun with him. He showed us all the hidden gems in qatar. Will definitely come back again.

Amazing tour - Our tour guide Sadiq was so friendly and explained so much during the tour! We felt that we really learned so much more about Doha after the tour.

Great way to see Doha - I had a great afternoon visiting all of the major sights of Doha. I was driven to all of the areas and had plenty of time to get out of the car and walk around. Our last stop was the souq where I got to see where falcons are sold along with the horses and camels. My guide Shah Jehan was outstanding. Very good Engliah and because he has been doing it for over 30 years he knew where to go and when.

No show and no comms - disappointing - Booking via Viator was fine, however the operator was a no show and did not respond to my comms or the Viator support team. Beware of this operator.
