- Camel Race Track - Camel racing is a large deal in Qatar. So large that there is TV channel devoted solely to the transmission of camel races, neighborhood and abroad. Camel racing at Al-Shahaniya racing track, placed one hour’s force north of downtown Doha, is in full swing from November to February throughout which period, home and global tournaments are held. Even if there are no races, site visitors are welcome to quit by means of the music each day at 9:30 am or round 5:30 pm when the camels are taken to the area for practice.
