Christian the tour guide 10/10 - Christian the tour guide is the best around, very welcoming and highly intelligent man. A pleasure to have been around on the trip.

Best tour in punta cana! - From the pickup at the hotel until the drop off, everything was amazing. Christian the tour guide was very accommodating, speaks several languages and he was very funny. Instructions were clear and every single thing about the tour was well-organized. Juan the driver did an amazing job. Praises to all crews at the boat too. What an unforgettable trip!!! If you are picking a tour, this is the one.

Amazing day at Saona Island! Christian is the best tour guide! - An unforgettable experience! From the start, Christian was an amazing guide, full of energy and knowledge, making every moment enjoyable. Juan, our driver, was fantastic, getting us safely from the resort to the speed boat with ease. The boat ride to Saona Island was thrilling, with stunning views and lots of fun along the way. Saona itself was paradise—beautiful beaches, clear waters, and relaxation. The party boat back was the perfect ending, filled with music and dancing. Highly recommend this tour!

Great Time - Excellent full day excursion! The crew in each section was great. The food was just so-so. The photographer made us all look like models. Party boat back - great fun!

Amazing. - An incredible experience to discover the island of Saona. Turquoise waters of azure blue, a guide that gives clear and explained explanations of the history and economy of the Dominican Republic, a more than satisfying meal and a team at all times.

All day tour or Saona Island and Altos de Chavon - We scheduled this trip with two couples from Cap Cana. The day was very beautiful. There was a little spot in the transportation that my driver pulled the van over to the side of the road and tried to tell me I was on the wrong bus. I was alarmed as I thought I was being told to get off the bus. Upon further discussion, there was another van to pick up my group right behind this van. The purpose was because my small group was going to Altos de Chavon.....just a moment of panic that could have been prevented with communication. On to Altos de Chavon...beautiful place, but we were not there long enough to see much. Best part of the day was Saona for sure. I would have loved to have spent the entire day on this island. So beautiful and the food was amazing. The speed boat ride to the sand bar was AMAZING. The water was crystal clear and my group loved the time in the water there. The catamaran ride was very nice. We were tired and just laid around on the front of the boat for most of the time. Drinks were just ok though on the boat. Now for the pictures...too many posed pictures and time taking pictures. I did not want all of the pictures and was not allowed to purchase the two that I did want. That part confused me! On another note, with all the transfers and different boats and vans we rode, I felt like I was tipping all day long! They are also not shy to ask!!!
All and all, it was a spectacular day...worth the money (even with all the traveling). When we return, we will just try and find a full day at Saona though.

There is no point to take this tour and spend 8 hours in the bus and boat and to be at the island for 2 hours - It is not worth to go this tour. We spent 8 hours in transportation and total tour was 10 hours in total. It took 3 hours from hotel to the boat, then 1 hour on speed boat, we spent 2 hours at the island and then back by very, very slow catamaran for 2 hours when all other boats were much faster. Then from catamaran back to hotel it took around 2 hours. So a lot of time in transportation and very little time on the island. On the way from hotel to speed boat we changed 2 buses and we stopped in souvenir shop and guide gave us 15 mins, but some of guests stayed there for 45 mins and tour guide didnt say anything and didnt go to pick them up.

Do not buy this - The tour is not what they sell. They pick you up early in the morning on vacation, then you spend around 2 hours picking other people up and going to the port hungry because the time of pickup is so early that the restaurants in the hotel are closed. The trip on speedboat is fine but again you cannot fully enjoy if you are hungry and they don't give you any open bar as they say in the trip description. They only give you lunch and on the way back on the catamaran you only have soda and coke. This company is a scam. The only good thing was the tour guide, dude did an excellent job explaining and very kind and the ladies on the catamaran who danced and kept good vibes.

We pay more and we get less. Close with another company/paote. - First of all, it must be said that the island of Saona is impermeable, not to stop going. JUST DO NOT BUY THIS VACATION PACKAGE WITH THIS COMPANY.
One day before the tour we were informed that we would be at 6:30 in the lobby to meet and go to the tour. It arrived at H time and we were called informing that they were at the entrance of the hotel complex and that we needed to be there in 5 minutes, because they could not wait since they had other hotels to pass. We walked to the entrance, which was far away, and of course they weren’t there, they had already left. We had to change the date of the tour and for this we had to pay more USD 20 per person. The walk? Only Saoana Island, Altos de Chavon was not even mentioned by the Guide informing the reason for not complying with the proposal. SUMMARY: We had to pay too much for poor management and poor communication on their part, in addition to having received half the ride we bought. Unfortunate!
