Island saona excursion - The Staff Escape was very good, easy and fast booking process and especially enjoy the natural pool, I recommend it for the safety offered by Scape Caribe. I will definitely book this tour again.

Too good for the price!! - The excursion to Samaná and El Limón Waterfall was amazing from start to finish. Transportation was punctual and comfortable, and the catamaran ride was a relaxing way to enjoy the coastal landscape. The horseback ride to the waterfall was a unique experience, passing cocoa and coffee plantations, and the view of El Limón waterfall was spectacular. Lunch at the foot of the waterfall and then relax on the beaches of Cayo Levantado was the golden snap. Definitely an experience I recommend to any nature and adventure lover.

A GREAT TRIP! - This was a great trip! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and a huge storm hit us during the boat ride, but the staff made sure we were safe and added an extra level of excitement. The waterfall was the highlight, definitely worth seeing and swimming there is amazing! And our horse guides were great, very helpful, friendly and informative. A very nice beach visit was at the end of our trip. Please be prepared to give generous tips on each leg of the trip, especially your horse guide and catamaran crew, they deserve it.

Long but great trip! - Great day and worth the time! This excursion was worth the trip but there’s a few things to be mindful of. If you’re in the Punta Cana area it’s about an 12 hour day. Close to 4 is the bus ride and there is about 2 more hours of travel actually on Samana island. The waterfall looked extremely different but there was heavy rain when we were there. The beach was beautiful! Staff were great and accommodating but also be prepared for tips throughout the day as multiple vendors help.

Beautiful destinations with sub-par food - Overall good experience. It is as advertised, but to the lowest standard. A “light snack” at the beginning of the tour is a dry ham sandwich and lemonade. The horseback guides are volunteers who will push hard for BIG tips and get disgruntled if not large enough. If you don’t have an adventurous pallet, eat before the tour, as the lunch offered is a “buffet” of beans, rice, & cold meat. The waterfall and Bacardi Island beach are beautiful and make the trip worthwhile. Also, great photo opportunities at the waterfall and beach.

Way too much traveling! - The 10 hour trip was spent mostly traveling on busses/catamaran. The busses travel way too fast, changing lanes to oncoming traffic around corners and hills when no passing is allowed. Flashing their lights on moped drivers. Took 2 busses and catamaran to get to Samana and then another jungle bus to get to the horse farm. The horseback riding was very nice and the waterfall was beautiful. Then on the way back, the catamaran stopped at a beach for an hour while it was raining, so we can get our free drinks and spend money at all the vendors. We got back to our resort 2.5 hours later than we should have.

Not worth it - This trip was 14 hours. We were on a very packed bus or sitting in an uncomfortable seated boat for 11 of those hours. (Boat about 2 hours total) (Bus 8 HOURS) (open seated bus [safari] about an hour) The music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other on the bus and the boat. The drinks (sprite, coke, and one type of bottled liquor) were poured into a small plastic cup. (Water from a cooler jug) not bottled. The snack was 1 thin slice of ham and cheese each on 2 slices of cheap, dry bread and 2 small slices of watermelon. (Dinner wasnt too bad). The guides were not friendly at all! Not helpful or informative. The waterfall and beach were very pretty and the horseriding was fun, but not worth 8 hours in a bus. The horse guides told us we had to pay $25 in tips to them each and another $10 for each horse and were angry when we didn't. We just wanted to go home, but we were stuck hours from our resort. I would not recommend unless you love long road trips to reach your destination.
