Upon reaching the departure point in Las Cañitas, participants will board a boat to cross Samaná Bay. The initial stop is the Humpback Whale Sanctuary, offering a chance to observe these majestic creatures in their natural environment. This segment of the tour lasts about 45 minutes.
Following the whale watching, the tour proceeds to Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island. This tropical haven is renowned for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a delightful beachfront lunch featuring fresh seafood and traditional Dominican cuisine.
For the next few hours, guests can relax on the beach, swim in the turquoise waters, or explore the island at their leisure. A designated semi-private area with beach chairs will be available for added comfort.
