Beautiful day on the river. - Everything we had hoped for. Seems like the perfect way to experience the Dordogne region. We aren’t experienced canoeists, but they are quite stabile and we were very comfortable. The crew is exceptional. Like others have said - just book it. You will be glad you did.

Highly recommend if you like canoeing - Views were amazing, we have really enjoyed doing the 4h canoe tour. Everything was well organised and all staff were super friendly!

Had a great time despite the rain - Paddling on the river and getting to see the towns from a different perspective was great. Unfortunately the weather want perfect but we got the most of it. We stop at the fist town for lunch and it was a nice break. We had dinner plans so had to rush through the rest of the ride. If it was a nice day, I would definitely stop at each town to explore

awesome canoe trip - this jerked my wife and i completely out of our comfort zone. As we are both around 60 and not exactly fit, however it was an amazing experience. we did the 3 hour trip and took the most amazing photos! highly recommend it.

Canoeing down the Dordogne - Very welcome, the information at the top.
Simple and efficient.
Shuttle back on time and in large numbers.
Thank you for this beautiful discovery

Great experience - Nothing to blame this canoe business, where the team is friendly, the explanations do not last too long, where the customer is free to take breaks and take longer than indicated for the descent.
Good rates, we had a great time.

A perfect way to spend a few hours. - What a great way to spend the day. Booking process was easy. Booked a 2hr canoe trip, started at Vitrac and ended at Castelnaud (with lunch stop in between). River was really clear and not particularly deep, so great conditions for swimming. Coach brought us back to Vitrac. Time flew by, thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure we could have gone much further-many did though. For us 2 hours was perfect. Don’t hesitate, book.

Incredible scenery, relaxing - Such an incredible trip! A. Little long unless you lkle A very long river run. There’s a bend in the river where a scene in the movie Ever After was filmed. So cool! The view of the castles was incredible. We saw fish, got out at one of the snack bars for burgers, frites, and a bottle of wine. Soooo much fun! Bring sunscreen, sunglasses AND a hat. Depending on the time of day, there’s not much shade. Water shoes are helpful but not absolutely essential. Definitely some kind of shoe, sandal, etc essential

Beautiful views, only takes 2 hours, staff the least nice folks we met in France - The trip was a highlight of our vacation. The views were stupendous and the paddling was super fun. I highly recommend canoeing this stretch of river for a wonderful excursion. The sites are spectacular.
The company: we arrived for the last paddle of the day. He said that we shouldn't stop paddling or we might miss the bus. Although they'd be slower and we both have much more experience in kayaks, he told us to take the canoe because we'd get wet in the kayaks. then he gave us a double paddle and we got wet anyway.
Then he said that we would not have time to get out of the boat.
We paddled at a very chill and comfortable pace and got to the pick up area an hour early. Had we known, we would have taken time at Castlenaud or Beynac. Once we got to the take out an hour early, the staff was pretty surly and we felt like we had imposed on them somehow.
Also, their last shuttle pick up time is the earliest of any of the companies.
In short, I'd recommend conoeing the Dordogne - it's stunning - but maybe check with another company.

Complete lack of professionalism and customer respect! - Of course, canoeing is very nice to do. Admiring the scenery from the river under a beautiful summer sun is a very pleasant experience. But still you have to have a canoe meeting all the safety rules... ours was dressed on the slice so my friend cut off her hand several times while paddling....
Force to stop along the way to request a change of canoe. The people at the end of the phone send you back for a walk, disrespect you and let you wait 1 hour before coming to your aid! Complete disrespect and total disregard for the customer! Not even one excuse!
In addition to no safety instructions given before Check-out, it is clearly the factory.
There are so many proposals to go down the Dordogne with other companies. Let us advise you to flee this one!
