Absolutely a great tour in a side car ! - We have taken many side car tours over the years, but this one was so interesting.
John was willing to customize something for us that allowed us to visit old longtangs in Beijing. Great tour. Great guide. Fun vehicle.

Just do this tour and you will not regret - First time on a sidecar and John made the experience so warm and casual. The day I had booked in was raining and John suggested if I may be interested to do it another day. Did this tour on my 3rd day of being in Beijing and still the experience was breathtaking. You must definitely do this tour when in Beijing. Took me on the small alleys Hutong. Completely understood I needed coffee and took me to a really nice place. 4 hours flew by too fast!

Street view sidecar experience - What a interesting way to see and feel the bustling beautiful chaos that is Beijing. John is not only and excellent driver but also knows some great spots to visit including some local cuisine for a snack or lunch. If your looking for that something different and want an unique experience, then I highly recommend taking the 4 hour city tour. Not only will you enjoy the time with John, you will get some great photos as well.

Best decision I made. - I took this tour the very morning I arrived in Beijing. John very patiently waited for me to check into hotel and settle down. This tour was the best decision I made and I enjoyed it so much because of the individualised attention and explanation of the places. It was an excellent introduction to Beijing‘s road and food since this was really my first foray into the country and city. John was really patient and I appreciated that he enjoys doing this so he brought a lot of himself into the tour. If I had known that he did trips to great wall too I would have engaged him instead of joining the big tours.

Fabulous experience - My husband I booked the tour for our first day in Beijing. Johnny met us at the hotel which was extremely convenient. He arrived on time and we boarded his sidecar and motorbike wearing a Bluetooth helmet so could hear the commentary. We were taken to many interesting places and bring small vehicle had the advantage of getting to places large tour bus could not. We visited the haotongs; bell and drum tower, temple of white pagoda; and site of the Ming city wall. We stopped frequently to walk around and photo opportunities, refreshments and delicious roadside lunch in the Muslim quarter supplied by Johnny. He provided a video of our experience. Johnny was engaging and provided an informative commentary. Felt we saw lots. All in all it was a wonderful and unique experience and a great introduction to Beijing.

A must-do when visiting Beijing - We loved our sidecar tour with John. We saw more of Beijing than we did with any of our other tours. While we drove by some more touristy sights and areas, we mainly stuck to lesser-known streets which was a unique aspect to this tour. John also introduced us to some delicious local foods.
John drove safely throughout our tour. The back of the motorcycle and the side car both had cushioned seats that absorbed the shock of the road well. We found both options to be quite comfortable.
We definitely recommend booking with Beijing Sidecar Tours for anyone looking to see more than just the crowded, tourist sights.

Book it now! - If you want to see Beijing past and present in such a unique way, with the best tour guide around, then this is a must do! John the tour guide is so friendly and knowledgable, and he will take you to many fascinating areas around Beijing while offering his local insight. The only negative of the day was saying goodbye. He even took us to a restaurant to eat some amazing food! Couldnt’t recommend enough

Unique private sidecar tour of Beijing - Highly recommend this unique and customized, private tour of Beijing with John who grew up in the city and knows a lot of places off the beaten track, but also can take you to the popular attractions if you wish. He pointed out landmarks en route and explained the historical significance. He brought plenty of beverages and we stopped for local snacks along the way!

Amazing tour, great information - We had a wonderful time with John - he was really thoughtful and helped put together our itinerary based on a combination of sights we wanted to see and suggestions from John. It was also like having our own personal photographer with us as we got lots of great pictures sent our way after. The tour ended with snacks and hot drinks which we also appreciated. Highly recommend for couples, friends, visitors to people who live in Beijing, and anyone who wants to see as much as possible in one day.

Unique Beijing tour with John - must do! - John was super friendly and provided a great tour of Beijing. Really unforgettable experience!
He provided clear communication beforehand and was on time. Really interesting to see the city from a sidecar and John was kind enough to provide a small scarf and lots of tasty tea because of the cold weather.
