• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - The tour guide will pick up guests from their hotel between 8 am and 1 pm, or guests can meet the guide at the designated meeting point at 9 am. The tour will then proceed to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square of its kind globally. Situated in the heart of Beijing, it is renowned for hosting grand parades and rallies. In 1949, Chairman Mao declared the founding of the People’s Republic of China from a platform on Tiananmen (the Gate of Heavenly Peace).

For security purposes, Tiananmen Square is enclosed by low iron fences with four main entrances: east, west, south, and north. The square is open to the public until sunset, but all visitors must undergo a security check before entering. Checkpoints are established at all entrances to the square.

• Monument of the People’s Heroes - Visitors can view the exterior of the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the impressive Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, the historic Zhengyang Gate and Arrow Tower, as well as the Tiananmen Tower, which leads to the famous Forbidden City.
• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The tour continues to the Imperial Palace, also known as the “Forbidden City,” the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace complex with a 500-year history. Tickets will be purchased in advance to avoid waiting in line. The palace was constructed between 1406 and 1420, but has been burned, rebuilt, looted, and renovated numerous times, so most of the current architecture dates from the 1700s onward. Guests will enjoy a highlight tour of the Forbidden City. The tour concludes at the north exit of the Forbidden City. Guests are welcome to ask the tour guide for assistance in arranging a taxi or bus to their next destination.
