Good sample of 4 foods in Beijing - Winnie was a great guide! She explained the significance of the food and gave lots of little anecdotes about Chinese life. She was also accommodating to the vegetarian in the group. The 4 restaurants were a good assortment of different styles of Chinese food so you can go seek out more if you liked one style (ex: hot pot).

Great food, great company - Had an amazing variety of food - some of the best I had in Beijing. The guide was great, and the other tour guests were as well. One of the best evenings I had in Beijing.

Big portions. Unique foods. - There was only one other in my group (off peak season) although a third was a no show. The student guide was very sociable & had impeccable English.
At each stop we had the context & background to the dishes explained & how to eat them. The portions were very large (for a European). Each venue had time for one beer (or soft drink).
It was surprising to see folks smoking in one of the restaurants but I guess that’s part of the cultural experience. The good was never the less tastey.
The tour ended on time & the guide ensured we got back into the subway station ok.

A Great Night! - This is such a cool experience! Honestly I’m not really into trying new and exotic foods so I was kind of nervous but on this tour I got to try some authentic Chinese cuisine and it was delicious! Not only that but the places they bring you are in locations you would never find on your own. Our tour guide Winnie did a FANTASTIC job of making sure everyone was comfortable, had what they needed, and gave us history of the places we were seeing and food we were eating. She spoke great English and was really funny! 5/5 experience!

Food, beer & a great time - The whole experience was amazing, Joyce was a brilliant and knowledgeable tour guide who made the evening so much fun. Definitely recommend, just make sure you have loose fitting pants 🤭

Amazing food! - The food was amazing. The restaurants differed a lot from each other. Every place was unique in its way and had an amazing history and food to offer. Winnie did a great job in touring us around and explaining about the city's, the places and its food.
