- Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Ti’anmen Square is the Largest City Center Square in the world. walk to the Tian’anmen Square (after all the security check). We will use the Travel Agency Pass to have quick entry to the Square. You are going to see the ancient Qianmen Gate, the Monument to the People’s heroes and the Great Hall of the people from outside and your tour guide will share with you the history and stories behind all the mentioned architectures.
Only Morning session Includes the visit to the Square
- Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - After the square you will just pass the Tian’anmen Gate and reach the Forbidden City and you will see magnificent buildings such as Hall of Supreme Harmony; Hall of Center Harmony; Hall of Preserved Harmony. Listen to the interesting stories happened in the Ming & Qing Dynasty. After that you will visit the Six Western Palaces such as Grand Council, Hall of Mental Cultivation. Then the Imperial Garden, Palace of Terrestrial Tranquility. You will spend at least 4 hours here.

Beijing top tourist destinations - Tiananmen Square and Forbidden city is must visit places when in Beijing, to get better understanding and experience, tour guide is highly recommended, our tour guide Jenna is very knowledgeable and experienced.

Would Recommend - The tour was interesting and I learned a lot about the history. Zhang Yigong (Tony) was a fantastic travel guide who is highly recommended. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions I had throughout the tour.

Good tour - The guide was very nice giving information about the forbidden city and in general, she tried to keep us as cool as possible as it was very hot by providing water and keeping us in the shade when there was a chance. She also helped in finding good places to relax and eat at the end of the day.

A very informative visit - It was a very busy day at the Tienanmen Square and the Forbidden City. Our Guide, Angela, did a very thorough job of explaining the area and the palace history. She clearly knew her subject matter very well and I learned a lot about the Palace that I had not learned on previous visits.
With all of that said there are a few improvements I would suggest. The Forbidden City is huge and there is also a lot of information to convey. Our guide could probably have shortened her summaries by 40 or 50% and still gotten the point across. Shortening the visit from 5 hours to 3.5 would have greatly improved the overall experience.
Knowing how touchy it is to leave a review of less than full quality. I want to say that I would recommend the experience, but if you are feeling that things are dragging, maybe request a shorter version.

Forbidden City tour - The day was hot which made the tour a challenge, the Forbidden City was beautiful and so we decided to leave the tour and go at our own pace and stay longer seeing the things that interested us more. There are visitor headsets for hire but they didn't work effectively for us.

Poor tour of the Forbidden City - The tour was well-organized, and I would rate the overall structure a 10/10. However, the guiding experience left something to be desired. Michael, our tour guide, occasionally used non-PC comparisons and was often hard to understand. Additionally, the directions to the subway at the end of the tour were unclear, and it took me a while to find my way. While the organization was excellent, I feel the guiding was more of a 5/10. Given the price, I expected a bit more from the experience.

Disappointing, not worth the money - Some of participanrs had prebooked entry tickets, others had to get them on site resulting in 40 min waiting for everybody. The head sets were not working properly making it difficult to understand the guide. The quality of information provided by the guide was disappointing.
