From April 1 to October 31, you can enter through the middle gate and access the Great Wall from Brick Crenel or Shalingkou, then walk eastward along the Wall. The final tower is the East Five Window Tower. The entire hike takes around 3 hours.
You will need to descend the Great Wall via a small mountain path from the East Five Window Tower. It takes an additional 20 minutes to walk along the mountain path to reach the east gate, where the driver will be waiting for you.
From November 1 to March 31, the east gate is closed, and you must enter and exit through the middle gate.
