• Jinshanling Great Wall Tourist Area - Pick-up from your centrally located hotel (less than 3km in radius from Metro Station Nan Luo Gu Xiang). Guests from different hotels are picked up in turns and it is arranged by the operator one day in advance according to each location. We’ll confirm with you about the pick-up time one day in advance.

After the pick-up, you’ll head for Jinshanling Great Wall directly. It takes about 2 hours and a half to drive from the city of Beijing to Jinshanling Great Wall (around 136km).

Main gate entrance tickets and shuttle bus ticket is included.

From 1 April to 31 October, you can enter from the middle gate of Jinshanling, and get on the Great Wall from Brick Crenel (tower name) or Shalingkou. Walking along the Great Wall for about 6km, you can get down from East Five Window tower and exit from East Gate of Jinshanling. The driver will wait for you at the parking lot out of East Gate. The hiking is a little bit strenuous.

From 1 November to 31 March, you would have to enter and exit from the same gate : middle gate. The driver waits for you at the same place.

Please bring your own food and drink for lunch, and take your passport with you for the tour!

Without spending a lot, you can explore the wild and the Great Wall at Jingshanling. Away from the tourists and crowds. Moderate 6km hike from the middle gate of Jinshanling to the east gate (from April 1 to October 31).

Self-guided hiking allows you to enjoy your time alone. No need to keep up with a large tour group or be pressured into visiting shops.
