Beijing - Xi’an by Flight

Beijing Capital International Airport - In the early morning, a local driver (without a guide) will meet you in the hotel lobby in the downtown area, holding a sign with your name, and transfer you to the airport for your morning flight to Xi’an. Please ensure you purchase your round-trip flights in advance using your passport.

Xi’an - Upon arrival in Xi’an, a tour guide and driver will welcome you at the Xi’an airport. You will then board a private car to the Xi’an city area. During the journey to the attraction site, your guide will share insights into the history and culture of this ancient city, helping you understand why so many renowned relics have been discovered here.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - After approximately 50 minutes of driving, you will arrive at Daci’en Temple, home to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Originally constructed in 652 A.D. during the Tang Dynasty to store Buddhist sutras and Buddha figurines brought back from India by Xuanzang, the site now features a large square divided into North and South Squares surrounding the pagoda. The buildings and statues are designed in the Tang style, reflecting the grandeur of that era. The area becomes livelier in the evening with various activities featuring Tang elements organized by local enthusiasts.

Xi’an Museum - After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, you will be guided to visit the Xi’an Museum, which comprises three sections: the museum itself, the Jianfu Temple, and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The museum houses a collection of 130,000 cultural relics from different historical periods in Xi’an, including items from significant Chinese dynasties such as the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang.

After exploring the museum, you will visit the onsite Small Wild Goose Pagoda to learn more about this legacy of Buddhist architectural art from the Tang Dynasty.

Muslim Quarter - The final stop is the Muslim Quarter, where you can find a variety of local products and snacks along the street. Enjoy preserved meats, casseroles, and various noodles. Finally, you will be driven to your hotel for check-in.

Xi’an - Beijing by Flight

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and travel to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, renowned as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” for its exceptional sculpture. Located 30 km east of Xi’an City, the original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. The museum includes Pit 1 (the largest pit), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. You will spend 2-3 hours in the museum, where an expert tour guide will explain the hidden stories of these life-sized sculptures and the history of their owner, the First Emperor of Qin, who was also the first emperor of China.

Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, return to the downtown area to visit the Xi’an Ancient City Wall. Built in 1370 A.D. during the Ming Dynasty, it is the only intact city wall that has survived in China and represents the largest and most complete military defense system in the world. Walking or biking (optional at your own cost) on the 600-year-old wall is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Beijing Capital International Airport - Finally, you will be driven to Xi’an airport to catch your flight back to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, a local driver (without a guide) will be waiting for you at the exit of the arrival hall with a name sign. Conclude your full-day tour with a drop-off at your Beijing hotel.
