Eobi Valley: Where Fish Keep Flying

Eobi Valley - Welcome to Eobi Valley, a unique valley renowned for its fish that appear to soar.
Previously, the population was sparse, leading to negligible fishing activities, and the water was abundant.
Consequently, the fish frequently leapt from the aquatic valley depths, seemingly taking flight.

Would do it again! - Amazing tour! Our guide Mario was the best and took us to all the sites and introduced each place great! It was super fun seeing and learning about each area and Mario answered any questions I had. I went by myself and met people on the tour and hung out with them. Super friendly people/tour group and I would recommend this to anyone! Thank you so much for a great experience!

There are surprises in all three itineraries! - The tour guide Sabrina was very attentive in explaining and taking good care of the group members. Eobi Ice Valley is beautiful even though there is a bit of melting snow. It looks great from any angle. Nami Island is like walking in the forest, very open and comfortable. Morning Calm Arboretum When I looked at the LED lighting, I thought it was nothing special. But the photos are very flattering. Have a great time.

Even better than I had hoped for :) - I've always wanted to go to Nami Island, however it is quite far with public transport which is why I looked for day tours including Nami Island. I was not disappointed. Booking the tour and having options from where i'd like to get on the bus was very easy and very pleasant. My tour guide, Mario, did a great job the whole day. It was an english/chinese mixed tour group of about 25 people and Mario spoke both languages fluently. Eobi valley is a very beautiful place and while there was snow on the ground I did not find it to be very cold. At the photospot where a few older ladies from whom you could take something hot if you were cold, which was still very much appreciated. Following eobi valley we went to Nami Island, it took about 45 minutes to get there by bus, however it was a great time to get warm again. Upon arrival the whole group went to a dak galbi (stir-fry chicken) restaurant which the tour guide had prepared for us. While you had to pay for yourselves, it was not expensive at all (I got the original and some rice and paid 17000â‚©) and the food was very good. Nami Island was quite beautiful, it is a very clean area full of nature, there were firepits all around the island in case you were cold and nearby you could buy some marshmallows. Exploring Nami Island was a very calming experience. At the end we went to the Morning Calm arboretum. Upon arrival it was already dark, which made thr experience a whole lot more fairytail-like. Personally i am a fan of just walking around and taking in the pretty sights and the sight were great. Another positive point is that at dvery location we took group pictures, which was something I did not expect but am however pleasantly surprised about. All in all, I had a very enjoyable experience the whole day. It was stress free and i've seen alot of pretty thungs I did not expect to see. I'd recommend it!

A fantastic winter wonderland - We only booked this tour after seeing something similar on another site plus we nearly cancelled it at the last minute as we thought we wouldn't have enough time in Seoul itself but we are sure glad we didn't. It was on a large bus and it was probably only 1/4 English speaking with the rest, Chinese. The Chinese guide spoke loudly and was easy to hear. Our English guide was only doing his 3rd tour so wasn't as confident or easy to hear in the bus and sometimes difficult to understand. Luckily my wife understands Chinese so translated some of the instructions. Spoke to our guide and asked him to speak up as we couldn't hear him at the back of the bus and he did try which was great. The tour itself was fantastic, with it snowing throughout the day (which it wasn't forecasted to do), which made it magical for a family from Australia that never sees snow. The frozen waterfall was fantastic with lots of locations to see and photograph. There were also some ladies set up in a tent selling hot drinks which was great. Next was off to Nami Island after some lunch. Most of the group went to a chicken restaurant which ended up being delicious and even though you have to pay yourself, it is highly recommended. Next is a 5min ferry ride to the island but there is also a zipline you can take (pay extra) as well. Myself and my kids decided to do that which in turn helped a few others to try as well. Few things about the zipline. You can take a backpack with you but must be on your chest, taking it while it is snowing is not a great idea as snow hitting your face at speed hurts but the biggest letdown for me is that you can't film it. Very thrilling ride. Nami Island is beautiful with snow on the ground and trees. We did not get to fully explore the island but with what we saw it was a great experience. Lots of little log fire pits around the island that if you found yourself a bit chilly, you could warm up or toast some marshmallows. After a ferry ride back and a bus ride we arrived at The Garden of the Morning Calm. This place was fantastic with lots and lots and lots of light displays across a very big snowy landscape. Just beautiful and highly recommended. After this it was back on the bus and dropped off at our pickup spot. It really was a great day and I have to say thanks to our English guide Jay who tried very hard during the day, was very helpful and went out of his way to get information so we could detour off the tour to do the zipline. Just a fantastic day and very glad we did it. Highly recommended.

Nothing special - I would not recommend this tour. The highlights were average, the ice valley is man-made, Nami island is nothing special, unless you’re a fan of K-drama and the lighting show was very kitsch. The lunch was great though and the guide was nice!
