Walking, Eating and Drinking Tour - We had a great evening with Mike who took us on a walking tour of Seoul with about 10 other tourists. This is a great way to get an insiders perspective of the small restaurants and bars. We would never know where most of these places are or really what to order! Back alleys, roof tops, and the sides of streets will all be visited. The guests on our tour were all Australian or American. We had a great night eating and drinking with them, just with a Korean twist! If you like eating various foods and drinking with like minded people, this is the walking tour for you!

Terrific food tour! - Mike was excellent. He tailored the food to our needs. We felt we got a great view of local food from someone who had tasted everywhere and knew where to go. He was very knowledgeable both about Korea and its food. We were traveling with two 13 year olds and they loved it as well as the adults!

Exceeded our high expectations - Mike is amazing--really knows the food scene in Seoul and gave us a great experience from street food and little snacks to fried chicken to bar food in a red tent on the side of the street. We'd had the usual Korean food at home so were looking to try stuff we haven't heard of, and Mike exceeded our expectations. Also really appreciated the beer, soju and makgeoli tastings. At first, the thought of having to pay for the food and drink in addition to the tour price was off-putting, but it really works out for the best in terms of getting to eat and drink what you want. It ended up being under $20 USD per person extra and our group was pretty adventurous and hungry! This was one of the best food tours we have ever done! Highly recommend!

Delicious, fun and educational - Mike is very knowledgeable and transparent with anything you ask. The tour was amazing, a must-do if you visit Seoul. Pro tip; if you’re adventurous, tell Mike you want to try fermented skate.

The best foods in Seoul - Wow! Mike really knows his Korean food!!! As a native and a chef, he spent months tasting all the foods in the back alleys of Seoul and found some amazing dishes. He explains why this is the BEST version of a particular food, a bit of history on the chef and how to eat the many, many delicacies we enjoyed. This is truly a foodies experience. Our family of four had a fabulous time indulging, asking questions, encouraging each other to “try it” over an about a 5 hour walking and eating journey. Mike became part of our family and we were blown away by his explanations and honest assessments. The tour pays for his expertise. Bring extra cash for food and wine. And expect to be stuffed by the end of the evening!!! If you don’t like trying unusual foods, this tour is not for you!

The Best Food Tour and Tour guide in Seoul! - My daughter and I love Korean food and we consider ourselves pretty knowledgeable about it. But Mike takes food and drinks of Korea to another level and we had an amazing time, learning and exploring. What makes this tour so special is Mike's knowledge, passion and integrity to present his guests with the best food experience. And some times that means tasting some amazing kimbab huddled in the alley ways of Market side streets! Mike definitely takes you around the less traveled and explored areas of Seoul, introducing the best foods and drinks. He was also very flexible and fitted in a couple of other stops when we asked about purchasing some authentic food items. There is no way you would be able to find these hidden jewels so do this tour and learn, enjoy and have an amazing experience. Definitely one of the best tours and worth every won.
