THIS ADVENTURE IS UNLIKE YOUR TYPICAL TOURS! My focus is on gastronomy and beverages. The primary aim is to enjoy a drink at each location while indulging in extraordinary food. I offer tours lasting 5 hours. I will be your guide to the area of Seoul that serves the best food, WITHOUT A DOUBT! There are secluded alleys that even locals aren’t familiar with! I have shown many people, including my Korean friends, this area and they unanimously agree it’s absolutely top-notch! Just remember to bring a voracious appetite because we will be sampling lots of different delicacies!
I won’t guide you to places that can be easily found on google or are commercialized. I lead you to destinations that you would not generally stumble upon on your own.
If you follow specific dietary rules, please either refrain from booking or consult with me beforehand. The options for non-meat dishes are limited.
The cost of this food and drink journey does not include the actual food and drinks. Everything is reasonably priced and the expenses are shared among the group members. This arrangement allows you the freedom to choose to try or skip certain dishes.

We will meet outside of exit 8 (it is NOT the elevator) of Jongno 5-ga station (dark blue line, line 1). Keep walking until you see the staircase to go outside of exit 8.

Great time eating and drinking through Seoul - If you're looking for a great night life experience in Seoul, I'd highly recommend taking this tour. Mike did an awesome job taking us to some hidden gems in the Myeong Dong Night Market where we ate mandu, pancakes, beef tar tar, and fresh octopus.
He also took us through a lot of great drinks including soju (including soju bombs) and Makgeoli. We could tell that he has a passion for Korean eating and drinking and we learned a lot about how to do it the right way.
Additionally, he provided some great tips on where to go for Korean BBQ, including what to order, as well as recommendations on where to see Korean baseball.
I definitely had an awesome evening and learned a lot from Mike on how to have fun in Seoul.

Hidden food gems - I have taken many tours in a couple dozen cities in half a dozen countries and this tour ... WAS THE BEST BY FAR. We tried many different foods (including live octopus and tiny sweet crabs) in the food market and down back alleys that we would never have found or known to try on my own. The community sharing food style of the tour allows you to try lots of different foods and alcohol. I HIGHLY recommend the tour and am going to start looking for similar food tours from now on.

Amazing ‘must do’ food and drinks tour - We had such a wonderful time walking through the streets of Seoul with Mike.
We sampled many different foods and drinks, and Mike was extremely knowledgeable about everything our group asked him.
This is a definite ‘must do’ for anybody interested in trying different foods and drinks out of the norm.
Mike, you are awesome, thank you for a wonderful day that Alex and I will never forget.

No body does it better! - Michael was an amazing host and extremely knowledgeable. He took us to so many out of the way gems and really made sure we had a great time. Look no further, this is hands down the best food and drinks tour you will do in Seoul!

Drink and eat your way through the middle of Seoul - One of the best food tours I've ever been on. Mike really takes you around and shows you different types of Korean food and doesn't stick with well known foods you might find in the US.
I didn't anticipate that much drinking but between the kalguksu, mandu, bindaedduk, sannakji, yookhwi, KFC, hotteuk, hodo kwaja, soondae... And whatever else I forgot, there was a no lot of soju, makgulli and beer. We ended up finishing up at a cocktail bar at the street of youth.
It was such a great way to spend a few hours in Seoul. I never would've tried some of the food or the assortment of makgulli if not for Mike.

The best night in Seoul. - What an incredible evening! Mike's passion for food truly shines through. We had the opportunity to savor the finest dishes, including delicious makgeolli and So-maeg. The experience of eating, drinking, and making new friends was immensely enjoyable. Our five-hour food adventure somehow stretched into nearly nine hours of pure delight. The camaraderie among our group was unparalleled—I've never met a better bunch of people. To top it off, we set a new record by collectively consuming 11 bottles of makgeolli during the tour. Cheers to unforgettable memories!

Walking tour thru Korea’s food streets! - Great tour. Mike was knowledgeable about Korea and all the secret places to eat that we would have never found on our own. We got our hand pulled noodles, so we were excited about that! Also, the drinking portion of the tour was nice too, it was and opportunity to chat with the other people on the tour and get to learn about on another. Bring cash! And do the tour, you won’t regret it!

Best way to start off my Seoul trip! - Great experience! Mike is an amazing tour guide and really knows where to take you and what to order. Exactly what you eat is up to you, in case there’s any picky eaters in your party or you know you won’t like something. Bring cash (in won) for the tour!
