Beauty of the Rock Restaurant - This place is absolutely amazing. The island is isolated, and you can enjoy walking or taking the boat depending on the tide. Apart from the beyond beauty of view and pure breeze from the ocean, the food menu is remarkable. I highly recommend you visit the place.

Nothing to be blue about at Blue - We met dear friends who we hadn't seen in tow years, at Blue for lunch. It was terrific. Each of us had something different and all of us were delighted with our choices. From a short rib grilled cheese sandwich, to a Cobb salad, to a turkey tips plate with mashed potato and broccoli and to me choice, a blackened salmon wrap sandwich - every entree was well prepared, attractively presented and absolutely delicious. Both sandwiches came with a very generous serving of fries. My salmon wrap had green, avocado, salmon, tomato and chipotle mayo - a marvelous taste treat. Coffee was hot and nicely served.
Glasses of white wine were quite nice, all was served by a diligent and charming waitress. We spent more than tow hours and never felt rushed.Great experience in every dimension.

The Rock Restaurant was amazing - Our driver MAISARA picked us up from our hotel on time and the car was immaculate. He was very pleasant.
On the way we picked up our guide for the day YAKOUB.
After joining with our boat operator, we set off to see the star fish. They were beautiful, large and markings were like jewels.
Next stop was snorkelling, although there was snorkelling equipment available, we used our own, not sure there were life jackets.
I found it quite difficult to climb in and out of the boat, it was my husband who helped me.
Final stop was The Rock restaurant, if we hadn’t booked a table the trip would have been very disappointing. Fortunately I had booked online and the very welcoming staff at The Rock attended to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there, it made the trip.
This is not included in your trip cost and is absolutely worth doing. A small ferry transported us back to the shore and we met up with our driver to return to our hotel.

Too expensive for the performance delivered - First we got the wrong meal. The other was left there. So we had to start eating. The meat was good, but unfortunately almost cold. There was only meat and chips. Nothing else. The lobsters that were served later had no dressing on the salad. No one showed up to say that we could have ordered something else. All in all, the food was just not good enough for the price (45 dollars each).

Unreliable company - book elsewhere - We booked a half day tour with this company a month in advance. At 6:30pm the night prior they cancelled the tour with no explanation. They did refund our money. Do not recommend as unreliable.

DON'T BOOK THIS!! - Tour said it was from 8-12, and listed states we would visit Michamvi Kae Beach. Both of these were not true. We were later told our pickup would be 9am, after we messaged to be sure of timing. So we waited. At 9:30, we messaged again. No response. At 9:45 we messaged. No response. At around 10, we connected with Viator for a refund. This was 2 hours behind where we originally expected the tour to start. They finally showed up and said they got turned around and couldn’t find our hotel. Even though we sent them a pin of our location. Very odd. Other guests in the car said they’d been driving in circles for a long time. We finally arrive at boat spot, get snorkel gear figured out then set off for starfish. Not Michamvi Kae Beach. Just a spot off the shore a little ways near Pingwe. After 20 mins here, off to Blue Lagoon, a spot off shore between Pingwe and Dongwe. Great fish, very packed with boats and snorkelers. Snorkel gear provided was pretty rough, so we quit early, because masks leaked, and hurt our faces. Finally off to third stop, The Rock Restaurant. We walk down from the beach we started at. Low tide, so lots of walking. We get to restaurant and they ask for our booking, so we show them the Viator Booking. Ah, we find out we don't have a real reservation with the restaurant. This is NOT included in the tour. Something we needed to arrange ourselves apparently? We didn't know. Thankfully, restaurant gets this a lot and understood, and made space for us. The Rock is fun to visit, but pricey, and small portions. We are then asked to hurry, as the other guests want to leave for their hotel. We do, and then find out they took a different shuttle. Tour ended around 2:30pm. Ridiculous. Almost a week later, and we still await our refund! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!

Terrible and sketchy. - Worst excursion ever. Everything about it was sketchy. Picked up by two questionable men who were vague about the trip, took us to some off road parking lot type of place full of plastic trash bottles and local men rummaging around. Not a tourist in site and did NOT feel safe. We get out and start walking to follow our “guide” to an unknown destination through more trash and ramshackle. End up at some funky shack to get poor condition, dirty snorkeling gear and only one of us gets fins that remotely fit, the other too large. They start filling plastic containers with gasoline which is spilling out and on the ground. Frightening. Ask to use a bathroom and he says there is none unless I pay $1. I had to use it. Weird. We think about leaving but are too scared and keep thinking this is Viator, a company we have always only had great experiences with. Then follow our sketchy “guide” about 1/2 hour on foot to a dingy boat which was basically a tin can with a wooden plank on the bottom with a guy in it. Bang on the waves out to “the blue lagoon” which was anything but a lagoon but at least there are other tourists in similar boats. We are too afraid they will take off with our stuff if we both get in the water so I stay in the boat while my daughter daughter snorkels. She does see some great fish but lots of naive tourists standing on the coral killing it with no one instructing to get off.
