- Велики казан - Veliki Kazan or Big Boiler is another ravine in the most attractive part of the Iron Gates. Here you’ll learn about the deepest point of Danube. You’ll also learn about how boats used to wait for clear passage before radio stations were used and what they used as a signal.
- Rock Sculpture of Decebalus - Enjoy a fabulous sight on the Romanian side of the river. This sculpture of Dacian king Decibel was carved in the rock to show rivalry between Dacian people (predecessors of modern Romanians) and Romans.
- Trajan’s Plaque - Experience this ancient Roman memorial plaque dating from the II century AD which commemorates completion of the Roman road on the Danube. The original road is 30m below water now, so the only remaining peace of this history is the Tabula Traiana which was relocated in the 1970s before the area was flooded.
