A wonderful tour with Miriam!! - Miriam was such a wonderful tour guide! I cannot recommend her enough! Her car was super clean, her driving perfect and her knowledge of Ireland made the day so fun and interesting. She made an extra stop to get ice cream - some of the best ice cream topping I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her take us on another tour. She was so kind and personable. Cannot recommend her enough!

Sublime history, culture, beauty and hospitality of Ireland in an Unforgettable, Personalized Tour - If you're short on time, here's the TLDR version: Book it. The first thing you'll appreciate is the incredible, timely and specific communication by Noel (so even if you are coming from far away and/or are anxiety-prone like me, you can feel confident that everything is set). On the tour itself, you'll see things you've never seen before -- led by a kind, knowledgable, truly additive guide who you will definitely vibe with, and who will take on all the complicated bits (timing, routes, driving, access) and leave you with all the fun and wonder. Just a day trip out of Dublin (or nearby), but one that will leave you feeling like you truly experienced Ireland and its history. Long Version (Note that there are some "spoilers" here, so if you'd rather just be surprised like I was, just book it and see for yourself): Did you know that Newgrange in the Boyne Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site just an hour or so outside of Dublin? When I learned that, I knew that my trip to Ireland would not be complete without experiencing it. As a lover of culture, history and folklore, how could I miss a chance to see something so ancient, powerful, mysterious, and culturally significant with my own eyes? But how? As an American, I knew I was not up to driving on the left -- not to mention some really narrow country roads. Plus, access itself to Newgrange itself is a bit complicated (as an archeological site, tours and ticketing are carefully managed). It was overwhelming to even consider, until I found this private tour by IrishTours365. Booking was easy through TripAdvisor, and as soon as I made my reservation, Noel was in touch -- confirming details and handling my access to Newgrange. He stayed in contact, and as the day approached, my wonderful guide Miriam reached out and confirmed pick up and all. On the day of the tour, Miriam showed up promptly right on time -- with no rush upon me. As we drove from the city, I was immediately delighted out how easy it was to chat with her -- like I said, she's easy to vibe with! All along the way, our conversation free flowed from her teaching me about where we were and just fun getting to know each other talk. The scenery was lovely -- Boyne Valley is truly beautiful and charming. I am so pleased that I was able to sit back and enjoy the rolling country (vs. giving myself a heart attack trying to listen to google maps and drive a car with a wheel on the right side). Before I knew it, we were at Newgrange where Miriam got me on my way. I'll not go into the specifics of this visit was, because if you want to check this out, I don't want to spoil it. Just know that it was a moving, one-of-a-kind experience that makes you feel in awe of, and connected to people who lived 5,000 years ago. After Newgrange, more lovely driving to The Hill of Slane -- where legend holds that St. Patrick lit an Easter Fire in 433, attracting the ire of the fierce pagan King Laoghaire. Now on the site are the beautiful, tranquil ruins of a friary church and college, plus a cemetery. Ruins are my jam -- and Miriam had already figured this out, so she talked me through some facts and history, while also letting me explore and take it all in. This is also where I learned that Miriam is a great photographer, and will take some truly epic shots of you. Since I was solo on this trip, I really appreciated this. Then, it was off to the Monasterboice (a monastery site founded by St. Buite in the 500s). Much of the history of this place is lost to history -- but what remains was breathtaking: 3 high-crosses that tell in pictograph the gospels of the Bible and a round tower (if you ever have seen the movie The Secret of the Kells, you can picture what this is). I was no anticipating this place, but it took my breath away. You can't really be prepared for sheer size of the crosses, or what they meant to the people who built them. Miriam was knowledgeable and it was so awesome to have her guidance through the site. The time flew by, as it does when you're having fun, and after a pleasant drive home chatting it up with Miriam, I was back to Dublin with enough daylight to do a little more exploring on my own. All in all, it was a totally satisfying and wonderful experience that I could not have managed on my own. A million thanks to Miriam and Noel for making for me a day that I will never ever forget. I'm excited to return to Ireland and bring my family, so that I can book this tour for them. Some additional thoughts: Miriam is attentive and intuitive, and could see what I was most interested in and I feel like with that insight, customized a tour to what I was most passionate about. If your interests are slightly different, I believe that your tour could be tweaked toward what lights you up the most. If you're a person who is more introverted, know that Miriam is an empathic person, and I sense would be able to provide as much or as little guidance and conversation as you're comfortable with.

That was amazing. - This tour was amazing. Although it rained, the landscape was beautiful and overwhelming. And the story that my guide Miriam told me was very interesting and informative (she gave me a lot of information about myth, history, culture and recent trend in Dublin based on the real experience). I joined this tour alone but really enjoyed it. Thank you Miriam!
