This class was phenomenal... - This class was phenomenal for so many reasons. For one, our instructor Carlos was the best! He taught us so much about the regional produce we picked up at the market to be used during our class, as well as many interesting facts about the market itself. He expertly demonstrated the steps for cooking 3 out of the 4 dishes on our class menu (cod omelette, hake and clams, and ribeye steak), and then we had the opportunity to fully execute these ourselves. I really appreciated this hands-on aspect of the class. The last dish was a basque cheesecake for dessert, which was very simple and made sense for only one volunteer to mix together the ingredients and pour them into one large cake pan for the whole class to watch and then eat later. The dishes all turned out to be very tasty, in large part because of how excellent the produce was, and it was so fun to enjoy them with cider and wine that Carlos provided. We were lucky to take the class with another great couple, and after 4 hours cooking, eating, and drinking together, it felt like more like a dinner party with friends. The four of us met up to get drinks later that night (and wish we could have invited Carlos!). Overall, the class was such a highlight of our time in San Sebastian, and we greatly appreciate the new cooking skills, memories, and friendships we gained from it.

Wonderful Experience! - This was an excellent experience! Carlos was knowledgeable and an excellent instructor. Each dish was delicious and the fun we had making them was the highlight of our trip.

Great cooking experience - This class was one of the best cooking classes I've taken! Carlos took us to the market to buy supplies for class and introduced us to the vendors as we went along. He clearly has good relationships with all. Our menu was was based on local cuisine and was delicious. Carlos explained and demonstrated techniques, and answered our many questions. I very much enjoyed the class and recommend to all.

Amazing farm to plate experience! - Highly recommend! We had a great unique culinary experience with ample history sprinkled in. Our instructor was outstanding with my 9 year old daughter, forever creating a fan of cooking in the Basque region. It was a lovely afternoon.

10/10 - What a fantastic class! Carlos was friendly and informative, showing us around the market while sharing lots of facts and stories. The cooking school is spacious and well equipped for the amazing class we did, making 4 traditional Basque dishes, to then share with a few drinks at the end.

Unprofessional - Class canceled last minute at 20:00 on a night before the experience (which was supposed to start at 10:00am). The reason stated is that they had too few people to break even. Highly unprofessional. Unfortunately all other (competitors) classes are now fully booked. Which probably says all about this experience, if you cannot get enough people, while others are fully booked
