Once you’ve caught your breath from the challenging climb, proceed to Bilbao, the financial hub of the Basque Country, and admire the city’s architectural and cultural marvels, including the renowned Guggenheim Museum.

- We strongly recommend to bring sport shoes and a spare Tshirt in case you want to climb the stairs all the way to the top of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe hermitage.
- A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required. If the minimum group for carrying out the activity would not be reached, an alternative date or full refund would be offered. If your booking was below this number we will contact you at least 2 days in advance to inform you in case the minimum group size was not covered by this stage. Wonderful!! - I had an incredible experience on this tour! Our guide, Javier, was fantastic—very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable, which added so much depth to the tour. It was the perfect way to explore areas beyond San Sebastián, with a wonderful mix of nature, city sights, and museums. Each stop offered something unique, and the whole tour felt well-rounded and thoughtfully planned. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a diverse and immersive experience!

Best Short Visit to Bilbao - History, Cuisine and Culture - The journey to Bilbao from San Sebastián was a great way to learn about the Basque regional independence, the geography and use of the land, and the history of the coastal areas. Alby was incredibly accommodating and supportive for the small group we had, which quickly became like a group of old friends. The access to a car to get us to the museum, the busy old town, and escaping from the rain was the best way to explore this exciting city. Thank you!

A fantastic day trip - The entire day was fantastic and the stop at Gaztelugatxe was filled with incredible views and extra exciting if you're a game of thrones fan. The Guggenheim also didn't disappoint. Our guide Alby was great throughout the whole trip answering questions about the area. 10/10 recommend.
Note: the hike at Gaztelugatxe can be difficult if you want to go all the way to the top but you have an option to stop short if you want.

Beauty in Bilbao - Ana was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable about the history and gave the group time to explore alone. I would wear better trail shoes and absolutely do this again!

Iman was great even though the weather was not - It was a great trip and experience for my wife and I.
Iman was absolutely the best all day long. He has great knowledge of the region and his communication to all was very very good. I would absolutely request hi again on any tours on our next visit. The tour was just the right amount of time to visit the various stops. Even though it was a rainy rainy day all went great with Iman leading and adjusting for the weather.

A Wonderful Experience at Begonia's Hair Salon, San Sebastian - I went to Begonia's Hair Salon yesterday in San Sebastian. Maria did a wonderful keratin treatment on my hair! It was by far one of the most pleasant treatments I had ever had! Even though she didn't speak English and I didn't speak Spanish, we were able to communicate quite well. Their prices are highly extreme reasonable, the products they use are excellent, and they are well skilled in the art of haircare. Additionally, they have an amazing massaging chair for when you are getting your hair washed or waiting for the conditioner to penetrate your hair. I'm so glad that I found Begonia's Hair and Beauty. I highly recommend them and will definitely go back to see Maria when we visit San Sebastian again!

Bilbao, Gaztelugatxe with Javier: 5 stars! - Javier gave us an amazing tour! Lots of history and local tips and a great hike at Gaztelugatxe and a well-ordered lunch in Bilbao Old Town. Love the drop off and pickup at the Guggenheim and uneventful trip back to San Sebastián. Highly recommend this tour and especially Javier!

Worth every penny - Wow, Javier was our tour guide and he went above and beyond. We had a blast! Pro tip: bring a change of clothes. We had such gorgeous weather for this excursion with lower temps and still sweat through all of our clothes. Some in our group were wearing jeans (DO NOT recommend). The hike to the church and back is no joke (the hike back is the worst part, almost completely uphill). Javier was so knowledgable and kind. He answered all of our questions and joined us in many laughs. It was our last day in San Sebastián, so he recommended 2 restaurants for our dinner and even called to make reservations for us. Lunch on the tour was amazing as well. Thank you Javier for a great experience!
