Awesome “private” tour of the French Basque Country! - Today took a tour with Alby, which was basically a private tour since it’s low season in November here (yes!) He drove us to Biarritz, Bayonne, and Saint Jean de Luz and gave us an interesting tour of each of these French Basque Cities. He showed us interesting sites (my favorite was the Rocher de la Vierge or the Rock of the Virgin in Biarritz) and had us experienced the excellent chocolates of Bayonne and then got to try the Pare Gabea (or the original macaron of Saint Jean de Luz). It was a great introduction to the French Basque Country and lovely lunch in Bayonne (the dessert at the restaurant was light and amazing!!) Awesome almost 8 hour tour with pickup and drop off back at the hotel, thank you for an excellent job Alby and a spectacular day!!

Lots of Memories to Treasure - Victor is a great guide a story teller . Got educated on the Basque regions. Biarritz is a beautiful city with the splendor of the old city. Liked the restaurant we had lunch on Nov 4. Forgot the name. A wonderful day spent. We are returning to San Sebastián & Biarritz

Five stars for for customer satisfaction focus - A beautiful full day in the most stunning locations in the French Basque country - Biarritz, Bayonne and St Jean de Luc - courtesy of our Basque native guide, Anna. Eclectic: from an unhurried photoshoot along the famous surf beach at Biarritz, to the indescribable beauty of Bayonne cathedral and a delicious river cafe lunch, Anna tailored our tour to our interests. Very knowledgeable, very professional and most appreciated.

Beautiful French Coast - Javaier was VERY accommodating and informative. The pace was just right. When one of our tour members hurt her hand, he was very concerned about providing first aid, using ice cream bars to provide a cold compress. We would have wanted more time to shop, since Javier emphasized and brought us to the streets with a lot of interesting shops. But he didn't allocate time for it. Good thing I wasn't expecting to shop. But a couple of our tour members mentioned that the tour could have been longer. Overall, it was an enlightening tour of Biarritz and Bayonne. Without Javier's stories about the history of these 2 places, it would have meant just another place in our whole tour itinerary. And we also realized that we were able to visit France in a day.

Very Good tour at a competitive Price. Very enjoyable . Bayonne OK, Biarritz Very Nice. - About 30 of us met at the bus station as planned at 9.00am . Bayonne was about an hour away on a comfortable coach with a tour guide. I found Bayonne interesting rather than stunning in any spectacular way. It's famous for its chocolate and the Vikings teaching them how to improve their sailing and navigation skills. We spent about an hour or so here. It's not a particularly big place. Lunch was not provided on this trip so grabbed a cake at the local market! Biarritz was totally different. A beautiful beach and coast line with a couple of enormous casinos from it's wealthy hay days. We viewed it first from the lighthouse location. Stunning views from here. We then went on quite a hike all up and around the seafront / headland to view the gorgeous beach and its eroded sandstones that scatter the beach area. We eventually arrived at the Virgin Mary statue on top of a prominent rock. We then marched off into the rather modern looking town. It was quite a hike I have to say and maybe a little too much for a 71 year old? I passed on going further into town to see the local market and grabbed a pint in a very nice hotel whilst I had the chance! Overall a very good tour and I did enjoy it . We arrived back at 3.00pm on the dot. I thought the tour was exceptional value for what it gave us. All positives and recommended. Just be aware that it's a lot of walking on the day if you've got old bones like me!

Wonderful tour, beautiful sights, knowledgeable guide - A very nice trip combining riding in a mini bus, which unfortunately was quite cramped due to the larger stature of the passengers, and a guided walk through some lovely Basque towns on the French side. The lunch was palatable though nothing to write home about and likely could be better. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were all as comfortable as possible, with plenty of time to ask questions and get a great feel of the villages and combined with some Basque cultural history. The small group was a very nice way to experience these sights!

Biarritz trip - Our guide tour Aitor was wonderful in everyway. The trip was not worth the $480 for 2 people . Nothing eventful, very average not much to see in Biarritz and surrounding towns. Waist of day.
