PINXTOS HISTORY and LOTS of SAN SEBASTIÁN FUN - WOW WOW WOW WOW is all I can say. Eskerne is absolutely amazing. She is so personable, some might say she is the unelected Mayor of San Sebastián and I would have to agree. She offers amazing knowledge of the history of San Sebastián along with insanely delectable PINXTOS. She catered to everyone’s likes and dislikes will pushing the boundaries of our palettes and asking us to open our minds and try new and exciting things. I cant recommend this tour enough and when I return I am going ask if Eskerne will just spend the day with us. She is the true GEM of San Sebastián. Amazing trip and amazing tour.

Best San Seb Tour - This tour is one of the highlight of our Spain vacation! Mayor Eske is the BEST! :) Her passion for the history and gastronomy of San Sebastian is unmatched. And her personality is just unbeatable - she made us feel super comfortable in our walking tour and made sure she took pictures of my wife and I in beautiful vistas in the city. She is just a fun person to be with! Our pintxos tour was great! Just recalling all the food and drinks makes me hungry now as I write this review. Just say Yes to everything she offers - it will surely be delicious! Eske and her tour will be forever be part of our San Seb memories.

Spectacular Experience! - This was a truly spectacular experience. We do food tours every where we go and some are better than others. Eskerne is not only very knowledgeable but extremely fun to be with. She made sure our group got to try what we wanted from her suggestions and everything was delicious. The combination of history of the beautiful city of San Sebastián with culinary history was perfect. Highly recommended.

A truly special culinary tour - We had the most amazing tour with Eskerne! She is so knowledgeable and engaging about both the history of San Sebastián and (especially) the food. We simply wouldn’t have had all the pintxos taste sensations without going on this tour. A delight from start to finish!

A Must Do While in San Sebastian! - Eskerne created an absolutely amazing experience for our group. I'm so pleased that we booked this tour right after arrival so that we could get a feel for the rich history of San Sebastian and the Basque region...not to mention the delicious food scene. She also ensured that any allergies/aversions were identified prior to our excursion and tailored the stops accordingly. Eskerne went absolutely above and beyond our expectations by providing additional recommendations and sharing her contact information for any additional questions that we might have while on our vacation - which we did take advantage of on a couple of occasions. Great Tour. - Great tour! My wife and I ate the most delicious food, ate pinxtos that were out of this world. Our guide, Eskerne, was intelligent, and full of energy and good will. And she had good taste, so every dish was delicious. She was informative about the city, My highest recommendation. Don’t miss this.

The BEST, freshest pinxtos and the most fun we had in San Sebastian! - Eskerne and Discover San Sebastian were the culinary--AND personal--highlight of our trip to Basque country! First of all, she knows EVERYONE in town--they all call her alcalde (Spanish for "mayor"), so we met loads of people on our tour of yumminess. And the pinxtos were incredible. In fact, she is the only guide that can get you hot/fresh out of the oven pinxtos (otherwise you will get served from the display cases, where items have cooled down and aren't at their peak freshness/temperature). Most importantly, she tailors her tour to your personality and likes/dislikes/allergies, so my husband got to indulge in his meaty faves like torched foie gras and a fall-off-the-bone pork, while I got to enjoy the yummiest, freshest vegetable and seafood pinxtos (just-out-of-the-fryer shrimp, the most delicious gazpacho, garlicky mushrooms, pulpo with potato, and flash-fried white asparagus with aioli, for example). We also got loads of great restaurant recommendations from Esky and she helped us plan the rest of our time in San Sebastian and in the nearby villages. They don't call her the "mayor of San Sebastian" for nothing. Do NOT miss this delicious, informative and fun-filled adventure.

Great company and food - Eskerne is amazing! She showed my mother and I around San Sebastian’s old district. We tried unique and delicious tapas. She has a great relationship with owners/staff so service was always fast and food was always fresh. She is also very charming and by the end we all wanted to hang around with her some more
