Lourdes is a charming medieval town that has become the second most important Catholic pilgrimage site globally, following the Virgin Mary’s appearances to Bernadette Soubirous during the summer of 1858. Since then, the sanctuaries of Lourdes, situated along the Gave de Pau river, have drawn millions of visitors annually.

Upon arrival, the guide will highlight the most significant sites in Lourdes, including: The Crypt, adorned with stunning stained glass windows; the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, designed in a Romano-Byzantine style; the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary; and the underground Basilica of St Pius X.
