- Parte Vieja - San Sebastiían (known as Donostia in Basque) is a city renowned worldwide for its gastronomic tradition. Without doubt the unrivalled “Star” and featured in every bar is the Pintxo. The picturesque old town (Parte Vieja) is completely packed with Pintxos bars — so many that knowing where to go and what to order can be completely overwhelming.
We will take you to the very finest pintxo bars that visitors are unlikely to discover on their own and we will suggest the best pintxo in each bar and the most suitable drink to accompany it, chosen from Cider, Txakoli (Basque white wine) or red wine.
From our meeting point we will visit the Old Town of San Sebastian where you will learn about Basque traditions and customs. You will visit bars off the normal tourist trail, eating and drinking like locals do.

Pintxos and San Sebastián- what a combination! - Even though we’ve been to San Sebastián many times before, we had never taken a formal Pintxo tour, so this was very fun and we got to try many different pintxos. Eskerne is super knowledgeable and very excited about sharing her love of San Sebastián! I’d recommend going on this tour the first night you’re in town so that you can go back to the many places that she will suggest.

Walking and Eating San Sebastián - Our experience with Eske was consistent with all the excellent reviews she has on Trip Advisor. She is a charming, gracious host and a perfect ambassador for her native San Sebastián. Eske is also an experienced hospitality professional and she makes her City accessible to you through her knowledge of the City’s history, the Pintxo bars she takes you to and the dozens of photos she takes of your group as you tour the City’s neighborhoods.

Fantastic introduction to San Sebastián. - I have to admit I had my doubts as to whether anyone could gel my disparate family’s tastes in a gastronomic adventure. But Eski did it. Enormous fun, great food and wonderful company. Would love to do it all over again!

A fabulos night of food snd drink! - Eskine our guide was amazing so knowledgable and so fun! We met other couples and she made us feel comfortable with each other! We got to try authentic spanish food and drinks that were so delicious! Really a great night!

San Sebastián pintxo tour is a must! - We loved San Sebastián but the highlight was the Pintxo tour with Eskerne. Eskernes passion for her city came shining through. Eskerne brought us to the very best local bars to sample the best pintxo and wine in each spot. With so many to choose from, it was so important to have an expert to show us the way. We loved San Sebastián and will return one day!

Savvy in San Sebastian - We did the history and Pintxos tour. It was a fabulous day! The perfect way to start our San Sebastian experience. Eskerne was super friendly and fun to be with! She was great with the Pintxos - showing us how to order and what she recommended while keeping personal preferences in mind. She customizes every tour to the group she has based on preferences. She also takes many pictures during the tour and gives them to you at the end (digitally), which is a fantastic bonus. I can't say enough good things - just book it! You won't regret it!

Great food with a lovely guide. All ages will love it! - What a lovely experience! We added the history tour before which was a treat. Best guide and best food. I was visiting on a mother-daughter trip and it was the perfect combination for both ages. We were smiling the entire time. Not to be missed while in San Sebastián!

What a phenomenal experience!! - There are not enough words to describe the once In a lifetime experience Eske created for our group! It was nothing short of fabulous!! Eske curated an array of tastings that was exceptional and spoke to everyone’s palate, her expertise and attention to detail made all the difference. We visited 5 outstanding pintxos bars that served some of the most exquisite pintxos paired with wonderful local and regional wines and her infectious energy and personality kept everyone engaged and wanting more! Add her insightful knowledge of the history of San Sebastian and the basque region and you simply could not ask for more. If you do anything in San Sebastián be sure you do not miss this tour!!
