Embark on a walking tour across the historical region of San Sebastian and uncover its fascinating secrets with our local experts! Experience the city’s iconic beauty and learn about its structures and residents.
Beginning at the junction of the Old and New towns (where the city walls of the 19th century stood), we’ll guide you through the winding lanes of the Old Town, visiting its two chief churches and the famed pintxo streets. As we progress, we’ll explore the city’s growth in the early 1900s, heavily influenced by Spanish Queen Maria Cristina. She played a significant role in the creation of several distinctive San Sebastian buildings, including Hotel de Londres and Maria Cristina (named in her honor), the Cathedral of Buen Pastor (Good Shepherd), the Tabakalera museum, Victoria Eugenia auditorium, among others.
To top it all off, we’ve also included a round of pintxos at a traditional bar located in La Parte Vieja, the Old Town!
