During this tour, you will immerse yourself in the city’s revered pintxos culture by touring the most renowned bars, each offering a diverse array of dishes. This tour will educate you on paintxos, a skill set that will be highly beneficial throughout your journey!
- The tour is in English.
- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
- Guests with serious food allergies will need to sign an allergy waiver at the start of the tour
- This tour is adaptable for: Vegetarians, Pescatarians, gluten free (not celiac), dairy free, Non-alcoholic options & Pregnant women, but please note that you may not have a replacement food option at every stop. Not recommended for Vegans.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a red bag or Devour Tours sign. This tour meets at Ijentea Kalea, 6, 20003 Donostia, Gipuzkoa. We'll meet at the bronze sculpture in front of Goikoa Palace (Goikoa Jauregia) located behind the city hall.

Customer support - There was some confusion on meeting location. All attempts to contact them went unanswered. Tour guide was great. Food was also very good.

A perfect introduction to the culture, food and cidre of San Sebastian - We chose to do the daytime tour instead of going at night because we heard that the pintxos bars get pretty crowded and we wanted to ensure we had a more personalized experience, which is exactly what we received. Each stop on the tour offers a slightly different twist on the local cuisine of Old Town San Sebastian. What we were most impressed with was the quality of service, presentation and preparation of food and beverages at each location. I won't get into details because I don't want to spoil the novelty of learning about the Basque culture from a local. Overall, the pricing of the tour is a little expensive in my opinion given the menu prices but I did not regret spending the money for a perfectly curated adventure by Devour Tours.

Yummy food and great local info - We loved our tour with Amaya. She was a great guide with so much knowledge to share about the area. The food and drink was fantastic! We would highly recommend.

On of the best food tours we have done. Be prepared for AMAZING food and drinks! - We're done many food tours as its a great way to get well orientated in your new city. This Devour tour was no exception and it delivered on all counts. In fact, probably one of the best food tours we have done. Our host Gabriele was fantastic, super welcoming, very informative and great fun. The quality of all the food and drinks we tasted was exceptional and we will be returning to many of the restaurants during the rest of our stay. This is a a great way to start your stay and there are a lot of food tour 's out there but I would strongly recommend Devour and Gabriele!

What better to do than... - What better to do than spend a rainy day in San Sebastián eating fantastic food and drinking excellent wines with new friends? I also learned a lot about the history and culture of San Sebastián .

A great intro to local pintxos and wine - Begonia's pintxo tour was fantastic! It was informative, fun, and took us to places we wouldn't have visited on our own. We loved the family-owned places and the group size was perfect for making new friends. We highly recommend joining this tour early in your trip to San Sebastian.

A local’s perspective on pintxos, a must-do in Donostia - I always love talking a food tour when visiting a new city, especially one that incorporates the small, local and family-run institutions into the day. Of course when you come to Donostia you must eat pintxos and this tour was absolutely perfect for introducing us to a variety of pintxos, from the classic to the modern, all paired with wines or cider. Our guide, Amaia is local and could give us insights on language, culture, history etc that really helped to put things into context. I think the daytime tour is a great option as it’s not as busy as I assume the nights would be, and it gives you a chance to return later to your favorites. Amaia did a great job accomodating dietary preferences as well. Highly recommended to take this tour early in your trip so you can get recommendations for later. Mahalo!

Devour by Gabriele Pintxos Tour Gold - Don’t try and navigate your way around the old town unless you do this tour fist. There are other companies that do this but you won’t go wrong with Devour. And if you are lucky you will get a tremendous host like Gabriele who knows the best of what is on offer. I got may dates wrong and it was not a problem for them.A San Sebastián must do.
