Embark on a stunning guided tour along the Cliffs of Moher sea cliffs with a local farmer, historian, and walking enthusiast, who pours his love for the area, its rich history, folk tales, and rural way of life into the walk. Traverse to the highest peak of the Cliffs of Moher, towering 214m (702 feet) above sea level. On a clear day, you can behold awe-inspiring views of the Dingle Peninsula and Loop Head in the South, the Aran Islands to the West, and the Twelve Pins along with Connemara’s mountains to the North from this point. Witness from O’ Brien’s Tower the dramatically contrasting vistas of verdant grasslands, rugged cliffs, and the ever-changing hues of ocean and sky, while listening to the powerful Atlantic’s waves crash beneath. The journey, roughly 3 hours on a gravel pathway, concludes at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. Following your stroll, a taxi ride back to Doolin village is provided. The 8 km trail, easy to navigate, demands basic fitness and a comfort with heights.
