The excursion starts at the pier of Puerto Madryn, from where we head along Route 3 towards the natural area of Punta Tombo. Located 180 kilometers south, the journey is mostly on asphalt with a small section on a gravel road. This area hosts one of the largest and most accessible Magellanic penguin colonies on the continent. It is the chosen site each year for penguins to complete their reproductive cycle and raise their chicks.
