- The Great Laxey Wheel - Starting at the Laxey Wheel, we discover how Laxey evolved from an insignificant sleepy fishing village to the centre of a lucrative mining community with Lady Isabela, the largest surviving water wheel in the world, standing as a bold statement turning to keep the mines free of water.
- Maughold - We venture onto Maughold, situated in a stunning area of natural beauty, we can explore a unique blend of Celtic and Viking heritage as we view some remarkable examples of carved stone crosses and explore the remnants of the first monastery on the island dating back to the 6th century.
- Ramsey - Stopping in Ramsey, we’ll see a bustling working harbour and a Victorian swing bridge; we’ll also encounter miles of sandy beaches and bays now a protected marine nature reserve.
- Peel - Heading towards the west of the island, we’ll venture to Peel with its stunning backdrop of the ancient castle, fishing harbour and sandy bay. We can wander through the quaint streets with their tiny fishing cottages or around the castle, keeping a look out for the Atlantic grey seals or our resident bottlenose dolphins, Moonlight and Starlight.
- Tynwald Hill - Making our way towards the centre of the island, we’ll see Tynwald Hill. Tynwald is believed to have been established by Norse Viking settlers over a thousand years ago making it the oldest continuous parliament in the world. The hill is now one of the island’s most Iconic landmarks symbolising Isle of Man’s independence as a self-governing crown dependency. There is a wealth of history to explore in this area including the Royal Chapel, a Giant’s grave and the Ballaharra Neolithic stones.
- The Sound Cafe Isle of Man - Venturing to the Southern tip of the island, we’ll discover The Sound which overlooks one of the most dangerous sections of water stretching to the Calf of Man, now a nature reserve with abundant wildlife. Also an opportunity for refreshments.
- The National Folk Museum at Cregneash - Overlooking the Calf of Man, Cregneash was one of the last strongholds of the Manx language; amongst the traditional thatched Manx cottages, that contain a living folk museum, there is a chance to see two of our favourite Manx animals, a cat with no tail and Loaghtan Sheep.

Castletown - Lastly we’ll visit Castletown, the island’s ancient capital which is wrapped around what is said to be the best-preserved medieval castle in Europe.

Our Island Discovery Tour is a complete whistle stop experience of the Isle of Man. Travelling along some of the world famous TT course, we’ll visit famous landmarks from the north to the south of the island, with plenty of stops for refreshments and opportunities to purchase souvenirs. Every tour can be tailored to suit your pace, preferences, and individual needs including visiting places that are wheelchair accessible if required, so don’t hesitate to get in touch and discuss your specific needs with us.
