Inveraray Castle welcomes guests from Thursday to Monday, 1 April – 31 October
- Minimum age is 4 years old.
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
- Digital translations in English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian & Mandarin available on request.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
- Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your tour’s departure time.

Amazing Tour - Martin was such an amazing tour guide! He was very thorough with explanations and descriptions and gave lots of extra tidbits as well. The tour was definitely my favorite part of my trip so far, as it was so beautiful!

Stunning places and Neil fantastic!! - It was a wonderful experience! Through a small and very comfortable bus we stopped in breathtaking places. The guide, Neil, deserves 5 stars!! In addition to the careful explanation of the sites of interest told us numerous anecdotes in a very nice way and making us laugh!
The bus has the USB connection, the stops are right and the time of the stops (all very nice, including small villages with bars, shops and restaurants) is adequate.
In all the stops we made there was a public toilet (most of them free). Too bad about Inveraray Castle which was closed!!

Magical Tour of the Highlands - Magical tour of the West Highlands. John our driver told us wonderful stories and played fabulous music as we travelled through spectacular scenery. John also stopped at some great vantage points to take photos. Highlights for me were the lochs, the hairy coos and Kilchurn Castle which I've only ever seen on Instagram. Inverary Castle was closed but it was still wonderful to see it on a bright and frosty day which made it even more enchanting. We packed so much into one day what a fantastic experience and itinerary. Thanks so much I loved it 💙🏴

Great Highland Tour - We had a great day on this tour. We went mid November and it was cold, but the day was clear and the castles were amazing. Our tour guide, John, shared a bunch of historical stories about the places we saw and Scotland in general. Very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour! It is a little shorter than others which works well with the short winter days. Even though the castle at Invarary was closed, we stopped and walked around the castle. Beautiful place. Castle is closed end of Oct for winter. Tour guide made extra stops during the tour to let us get out and take pictures.

Fantastic day trip - This tour was such a delight. Our tour guide Natalie was extremely entertaining and funny. She stopped as many times as possible for the best photo opportunities and the playlist she made perfectly accompanied the highlands. The timing dedicated for each spot was a perfect amount of time, I didn’t feel rushed at any point. Would definitely recommend this tour for everyone.

Wonderful West Highlands - What a fantastic tour! Eric was a wonderful guide and provided us with much entertainment of stories and jokes along our route in the highlands. We had a beautiful day and would choose this tour again in a heartbeat. You cannot go wrong with Timberbush.

Beautiful day trip - Stopped by Doune castle didn’t go inside but the grounds were lovely. Our driver Paul on the way to Kilchurn stopped at a place to see hairy coos they were so cute. Paul was very informative and had been doing this for a while he did well with some strange questions from other guests. Unfortunately inverary castle was closed but got to walk there and it was pretty. We stopped at a loch and it was stunning. Spent about 45mins-1.5 hours at some locations

Nice trip - Martin who did our tour was amazing so knowledgeable and knew a lot about the history of Scotland.
