- Dresden Christmas Market - The Striezelmarkt is Germany’s oldest Christmas market, in existence since 1434! This is where the famous Dresden Stollen came into being. We will sample Stollen and Glühwein (mulled wine) if you want. You will learn about other local delicacies and discover stories behind the world famous Christmas decorations.
- Procession of Princes - Walk by the Procession of Princes, admire the ornate exterior of the Royal Cathedral and Palace, walk along Bruhl’s Terrace, also called the Balcony of Europe, and learn how it came to be called that.

You’ll also come across Christmas creations unique to Saxony, such as the Nutcracker or the Moravian Star.
