James did an excellent job setting up a beautiful table and cooking the fish and extras that came with it. It was an amazing time on vacation. We also were able to enjoy a free-air show from the RAF.

Amazing - Really enjoyed our catch and cook experience with family. Delicious food and lovely scenery. The children had great fun and the staff from Mountain Tours Scotland were fabulous!

Posh Wilderness Experience - The weather cleared and we were out on the black, clear water flinging a fishing line and enjoying the morning. Coming off the water we were greeted with a glass of wine and bowl of hot soup-lunch was nothing short of spectacular. This was an experience we will remember!

This is how you see the real Scottish Highlands - What a great day in the highlands of Scotland on Loch Ness. First, this a local family owned business. Kasey and James were wonderful hosts and guides. We started the day with arranging pickup through them from our cruise ship in invergordon for a 30 min drive through the hills of Scotland. Great views and conversation. This is not a cattle car bus tour but a personal one on one tour. We arrived at a farm on the shore of Loch Ness and actually drove through a sheep pasture to the boat dock. We climbed aboard the boat with Captain Zander. We spent two hours trolling and an hour casting. We ended up catching sea trout and brown trout. Back on shore Kasey and James had set up a picnic table with an open fire where Kasey cooked the fish we caught and made us some local side dishes for the meal. We had wine,beer and antipasto board. We loved the day and felt like we were the neighbors from down the road just doing a get together. Great time and I highly recommend!!

Romantic dinner at Loch Ness - We loved the end of this experience (the dinner portion). It was very romantic and our host was gracious and accommodating as well as knowledge and easy going. We also liked the fishing portion of this experience but we felt rushed during it is the only thing. Our time was originally to be at 2pm but was changed to 6pm and then there was some confusion about where to meet so we were 20 minutes late unfortunately but if was really great to actually catch something in Loch Ness and then immediately be able to eat it at a beautiful dinner by firelight. I would definitely recommend this experience!

No Communication - We were waiting at the pick up location for 30 minutes and calling numerous numbers trying to get a hold of the cook and catch personnel and no one was answering. Finally, someone at trip masters said we should have received an email that the trip was cancelled at about 1:30 which didn’t happen. Right after they told me that (2:30) I received a message saying the trip was cancelled for the day and I would receive a refund but that trips weren’t charged until after the trip. This is not correct because I still have a pending charge on my credit card for the trip. Very disappointing. If I don’t get my refund this review will be updated for further reviews and warnings to future travelers.
