One of the best private tours we have had!! - I highly recommend Invergordon Tours! It’s so easy to schedule your Invergordon Tour! Gavin is fantastic and his guides are outstanding! Fiona was our guide for this tour and she was wonderful! We learned so much about the area, enjoyed seeing Inverness, the boat ride on Loch Ness and our walk around Urquart Castle! The visit to Culloden was a bit emotional, but a place everyone should visit. Fiona’s song after a brief silence for those who had fallen was beautiful. I can’t thank Gavin and his staff enough for a fantastic tour! I highly recommend Invergordon Tours!!

Great tour, tour guide, and value - This is a very good third party tour. It is much cheaper than similar offerings from the cruise ship. Gavin and Fiona are wonderful tour guides and took good care of us.

Fantastic tour with small children! - A fantastic third-party tour. As good or better than booking a similar excursion through the cruise ship.
We were eleven travelers, two of which were twin 4 year boys. First, and perhaps most important, this group picked us up at our port. This is huge. Loch Ness is a 45 minute drive away and getting to and from the port can be tricky, especially for larger groups or families.
Our guide, Fiona, was wonderful and quirky. She did a fantastic job keeping us engaged throughout the tour. The sites along this tour are diverse with lots of areas of interest for everyone.
Gavin is as amicable as he is tall. He was very personable and easy to engage with when we met at the beginning of our tour. Being responsible for several tour groups can be tricky but we found our tour to be organized and pleasant.
I highly recommend this tour.

OUTSTANDING! - We took the Loch Ness Outlander Tour with Fiona as our guide for the day. Not only was the tour itself wonderful, but Fiona was stellar! Fun, knowledgeable, engaging and professional- she made our day very special. From the jokes to the samples of Scottish treats (and our first experience with Irn-Bru!), Fiona was just fantastic. The tour itself was also spectacular, with stops at Beauly Priory, Urquhart Castle, a Loch Ness cruise, Culloden Battlefield and "hieland coos". I would absolutely recommend this tour and this company. Thank you to both Gavin and Fiona!

A beautiful and fun shore excursion - Shop local! Gavin, the owner, actually lives in Invergordon, and he clearly takes pride in his company and in the Highlands. We appreciated the excellent communication and customer service. Fiona was our guide that day, and she did a fabulous job getting us around, educating us, singing, and making sure we got a wee dram (or two) of whisky. The best shore excursions we took on a cruise with lots of shore excursions.

Missed Clava Cairns! - We enjoyed our tour but were very disappointed our tour did not go to Clava Cairns since it was on our original itinerary. We questioned why we were not going and our guide told us since we were a large group (47) and were in a bus we were unable to go there. We have done many small group tours and 47 is too many for just one guide without any voice boxes. Keeping a group that size together is impossible and you couldn’t always hear the guide or the instructions. I don’t see how a company can alter the tour itinerary without notification and or compensation.
