Highlights

After a thorough instruction, we first head towards the Old Town to see the Rhine Tower and the picturesque Burgpark, known for its breweries and outdoor dining. We take a short break at the ‘Ürige’ brewery to enjoy a typical Düsseldorf beer.

Our next stop is the beautiful Rhinepark, featuring green meadows, plants, and public buildings like broadcasting institutions. The architecture of these buildings is impressive, and the Rhinepark offers fantastic views of the Rheinturm (Rhine Tower), the marina, and the Parliament Building. We then cross the Theodor-Heuss-Brücke to reach Oberkassel on the other side of the Rhine. Driving through the lovely Rhine meadows, you’ll get a great view of the Düsseldorf skyline. Feel free to speed up and enjoy the wide path—Segway driving offers a unique experience you’ll love.

Gliding effortlessly across Oberkassel and back to the right side of the Rhine, we arrive at the Düsseldorf harbor, where industry meets logistics and trade. The harbor area, known as Medienhafen, is an exciting and modern district with numerous culinary offerings that we explore by Segway. We then pass by the nearby Federal State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, the central legislative body of the state’s political system, before finally returning to our starting point.

Segway beginners in Duesseldorf - Super fun! We were family of 7 ranging from 15 years old to 73 with no Segway experience. Mehmet, our guide, was excellent. He was patient & encouraging. We all had an amazing time. It was the perfect way to check out Duesseldorf with our short amount of time.

AMAZING! Just do it! - DELIGHTFUL! If you have the slightest urge to try this - do it! It was our first time using a Segway and within minutes, Mamet had us rolling. It was so fun and was the perfect way to see so much more of the city had we been on foot. Would definitely recommend and we will do this again!

We recommend! - The guide helped us a lot to master the first few meters on the Segway. The ride afterwards was really great, we learned a lot about the city and the cruising itself was great fun! We would do the tour again and again!

TIPTOP - We went on a two-hour Rhine tour with 7 colleagues as a team event. Our guide was great! It was a great experience away from the daily office routine. We'd love to do it again!

Amazing! - We were lucky enough to have a private tour as it was a chilly day in late November! It was still very beautiful and we had a wonderful time! Our guide even treated us to a cappuccino to warm up. It was really fun! We learned a lot and saw lots of beautiful sites in Düsseldorf. Thank you so much for a great afternoon!

Just do it - the best of Düsseldorf! - A fantastic tour. Mehmet is a great tour guide - full of interesting information about Düsseldorf. And as for the Segway teaching - a true master - up against it with two oldies with dodgy balance! A great afternoon - highly recommended - thank you!

Brilliant, personalised and very efficient way to see Düsseldorf with a great guide - first time on a segway 👍👍👍😎😎😎 - Best way to get to know Düsseldorf! And much more fun than an open top bus! First time using segways and with good and safe instruction we mastered them quickly. They are great fun! Excellent route from down by the Rhine, via Oberkassel to the Hofgarden, Ko, Altstadt and the Tower to finish. Great way to understand the geography. Mehmood was a great guide too. My son (14 yrs) and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

Brilliant introduction to Dusseldorf - This is a really good way to see the city - you get to see a lot during the tour, but you don't feel rushed. Our guide, Mehmet, was friendly and informative. I was with my wife, and we had a great time. We've done a few Segway tours and experiences in the past, and have enjoyed them all, but I think this one was our favourite so far. Highly recommended.

Great way to spin around the city - My wife and I like Segway tours of a city. You get the guide and can move around pretty quickly and cover a lot more distance than walking. Plus - you're enjoying the elements and not stuck in a van or bus. He pointed out the beautiful Rhine park area on both sides of the Rhine. The one on the West Side is used as a buffer for an overflow of water which happens frequently. As a result, that portion of park land can be underwater. During the summer, it’s back to normal so we traversed plenty of area in that park while our guide pointed out many things of interest along the way. We finished our tour at an old brewery that served Altbier which Dusseldorf is famous for. Great tour and great guide.
