Ma Pi Leng Pass - The Ma Pi Leng pass is Vietnam’s most awe-inspiring mountain pass, standing at 1,500 meters. It connects Dong Van and Meo Vac, two northern cities in Ha Giang province, near the Chinese border. This road is the most remarkable mountain route in Vietnam.
It runs along the paved national road 4C, dubbed “The Happiness Road,” constructed in the 1960s by numerous workers, primarily local ethnic minorities. The road took 11 years to complete.
Known as the King of Vietnamese mountain passes, it features cliffs and abysses throughout, with enough hairpin turns to make one dizzy. The road along the mountainside offers a romantic, breathtaking landscape perfect for motorcycling. The ascent, often called “the Great Wall of Vietnam,” resembles a fairy tale scene.
Dong Van - After dinner, a stroll through Dong Van Ancient Town is planned, where guests can enjoy traditional music and engage in cultural exchanges with local Hmong people.
Dong Van – Hmong King - Yen Minh - Ha Giang (150 km)
Yen Minh - Lunch is served at a local restaurant, with the journey passing through beautiful pine forests.
