Love it - We had such an amazing time, from rhe moment we were picked up from our location to the desert, our driver Mujahid know what his doing, very attentive and made sure that we had all the experience we paid for. Memorable experience of Desert Safari - Had fantastic time on the desert safari organised by Bilal from Gulf Discovery tours. The service provided was excellent from picking up to drop off at hotel. We chose the Premium package. Bilal did explain all services included and services which would be of extra charge. We chose to pay for quad biking and the camel ride which were worth. The entertainment and food were good. Overall I would recommend this service

Desert safari experience - It was a thrilling experience with excellent hospitality provided by Bilal. The package includes dune bashing, camel rides, sandboarding, henna painting, traditional performances like belly dancing and fire shows, and a buffet dinner. The dinner was average however the package on the whole worth the money and it was well organised. We really have good time and made more memories with our friends!!!

Basics included - pay for everything else - I’m glad I didn’t pay any more than I did. Took 1.5 hours to get to location, sand bashing lasted 3-4 minutes. Camel ride was around a circle for photo opportunity and you had to pay for a longer 10 minute ride. Hena was 1 design for everyone. Food didn’t arrive until 19:30 and wasn’t the best. The show was the most enjoyable part and leaving was chaos.

AGONISING EXPERIENCE - We arrived at the camp offered by gulf discovery tours which was not very appealing but had to make do. the shows were unorganized as there wasn't any schedule or protocol followed. people started to leave early due to the cold and the whole place looked like a ghost town. the leaving was even more chaotic. with several waiting for the car and then being shoved like cattle in a random car. the VIP option is more like a scam u don't get anything exclusive everything comes at an additional charge once you arrive at this camp. transportation is a big deal. we were told to inform earlier about any change in the departure which we did,( tried calling several times only to hear the excuse that the driver had misplaced his phone) and thereafter ended up waiting for the driver till the lights were shut. because ur in the middle off the desert and it's dark, how can anybody find their way back to the nearest road which apparently is around 5- 7 kms at the two guard towers. we paid around 1000 dirhams only to be stranded and taken back to the hotel as per the decision off the driver. I suggest to book these activities from your respective hotel as there may be some responsibility on the shoulders off the hotel management. you may have the option off having your car waiting for you at the parking area near the guard towers, so if you would like to leave early you can hop into the vehicles designated with these camps and drive back to your car, saves you the agony off waiting forever in frustration. there are many other camps which may offer better services but make sure you check and re check everything because we had a terrible experience considering it was extremely cold and there wasn't any other option available to leave at our own choice. these camps which offer you the desert safari seems to be part off a cartel which are mostly run by non emiratees. so kindly check the details and make an informed decision.
